- This is a full room tour of a deluxe studio with a lake view at Disney's Bay Lake Tower resort. This is a Disney Vacation Club room, but it can be booked through Disney's website. This room has a slightly different layout than the other tour we have as the sink for the bathroom is actually in the kitchen. This room sleeps up to 4 adults and can feel cramped depending on how many people are in the room and how much luggage you have. The room number is 8223.

This was the original design of all the studios when it open in 2009. The feedback from members resulted in a modification of studios to where the sink was moved into the bathroom shortly after opening (1.5 years). Guess they missed one?
really? we've stayed there a bunch of times, but thankfully never were stuck in one of those. Who could possibly have thought that was a bright idea??????
It's a Handicap studio. That's why it's laid out that way.

Poly has the biggest studios on property 😊
@@sheilasutardi1363 - Outside of Studios, though, Old Key West has far and away the largest one- and two- bedrooms. And by quantity of rooms, Saratoga Springs is easily the largest.
@@joec1774 I just stayed at Saratoga last week. I said never again 😂 at least not without a car. It’s a great resort overall, but if you’re on a trip that fully relies on Disney transportation, I’d suggest you look elsewhere
@@sheilasutardi1363 Love Saratoga and the ability to walk to Disney Springs, plus the renovated rooms are very modern, pretty, functional. (We most often stay in Congress Park and don’t have a car at home, so we are used to walking.) Only use buses for Parks and haven’t had an issue to date. Of course YMMV.
That's really weird with the bathroom sink in the kitchen area! They could have taken out the wall and made a larger bathroom.
We thought the same thing. The other tour we have does have that layout, but this one was very odd to us.
Nothing "deluxe" about this studio. Bay Lake needs to be up next for refurbishment, now that Boulder Ridge is getting attention. This is 'contemporary' design as of a decade ago, and the furniture in this room is visibly haggard... all putting aside the dysfunctional layout of the sinks/bath in this particular unit. For now, this is definitely on my 'do not stay' list...
bay lake is VERY VERY long in the tooth. Definitely needs refurbishment. Although, i will say that it's very clean. Covid really did a good thing to the rooms. At least the ones we were in in July. Super super clean. No dirt and no hidden greasy surfaces (which we did find at kidani, also in july).

that is the dumbest design of a room/bathroom i've ever seen. There is no way i would accept that room. BLT is our home resort. The 'normal' layout is far more functional than this one.
It was really weird getting ready in the morning in the kitchen and then making breakfast. Definitely not ideal and hoping this changes whenever it’s time for BLT to get a remodel.
