Gordon has been handling the express for a couple of year on his own. However, with increasing demands and a new schedule, it’s clear to Topham that he needs help. He can’t decide on what to get, so he has two engines on trial. Only one is to stay behind. Despite it looking up for one of them, things soon take a tragic turn

I like that Crovan isn’t just 87546 like he’s normally portrayed. The facemesh looks a tad weird but I understand limitations with those kinds of things. Good job!
I'm with you, and him being showed as the Atlantic Sir Topham wanted and having an opposite personality from the Books made this very interesting.

@@TheAutisticCapricorn811 Kind of. While he isn't actually in the books. He was put in place of the engine numbered 87546 in the RWS, and instead of being rude and boastful like 87546 or Alfred aka 98462, he was a very humble engine.

I've especially wanted to mention that I personally took notice that the locomotive known as Crovan in Engine Arrival is basically considered to be much better than the version of the locomotive numbered 87546 who was basically considered arrogantly boastfully rude towards Henry the Green Engine alongside the other locomotive known as Alfred! Well, on the bright side, this version of Crovan certainly seems to be exactly 100% better than the version from NWR origins! I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love how Edward kindly helped Crovan with his problem about braking distance from the platform as well as when he should slow down with a clever suggestion to place special boards @ certain spots along the line! I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love how Crovan certainly had done such a good hearted deed by helping Henry the Green Engine when he broke down on the mainline!
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love how the Fat Controller decided to send 98462 packing straight back to the L N E R as punishment for his reckless driving along the mainline!
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally think that this version of Crovan certainly seems to be exactly 100% MUCH BETTER than the version from NWR origins when the locomotive just had a number instead of a name in the formal number of 87546 who arrived on trial to the NWR along with 2 other engines; of which 1 of 'em certainly INDEED basically JUST happens to be Henry the Green Engine WHILE the other engine was named Alfred who called Henry the Green Engine a mix-brit mongrel BEFORE having his name taken away from him just to avoid disgracing another designer from the L N E R as the number of 98462 suddenly became the insane locomotive's identity UNTIL that insane L N E R class B12 steam-driven railway tender locomotive blew himself up WHILE trying really hard to murder Gordon the Big L N E R class A0 pacific steam-driven railway tender locomotive along with the experimental hybrid locomotive known as Henry the Green Engine with a train of fuel tankers!

I've especially wanted to mention that I personally think that it's quite amazingly outstandingly surprisingly shockingly bonkers to believe that Gordon the Big L N E R class A0 pacific type of steam-driven railway tender locomotive happens to be a good old chap of Another L N E R tender locomotive known as Alfred as mentioned by Crovan!
I thought it would be Molly or Emily next, but at least your version of Crovan is an Atlantic (Topham’s favorite locomotive wheel arrangement).

I have to say I've been a big fan of your series for quite some time and all I can say is wow this is a different story with 98462 and 87546 even though they're not called that in this series. But nonetheless you're serious is coming along very well keep up the great work I hope they see more from you soon

Two expressions come to mind... a train taking a dirt road, and one taking a 90-degree turn... This video has one of those... Nicely done.
I think Alfred's 90-degree turn was supposed to be him falling on his side, something that could not be recreated in the game... Idk i could be wrong

Just to note, Alfred wasn't just speeding, he was also ignoring the timetables by leaving early. If you stop at a station early, you have to wait until your scheduled departure time anyway.
I seriously do personally hope that Alfred certainly will eventually learn his own official lesson!
Which meant I hope Alfred will be a much better engine when he comes back to Sodor, like Crovan. He had given Sir Topham Hatt a lot of trouble! People are laughing at his railway and he does not like that at all!

With regards to Alfred, I can see that he's been a bad influence to Gordon here. Quite surprising he was able to survive that accident, especially when he took full responsibility. Man, did he look sad when sent away...

Seems I've come across another different take on 98462 and 87546. And I for one enjoy your take on these obscure characters. Usually 98462 (Alfred) is often depicted as being aggressive and unhinged. While 87546 (Crovan/Regaby) is arrogant but has a better sense of morals. Or in one take I have seen is when the two swap places. In Which 87546 is evil and 98462 is the reasonable one.
However you just kept it simple without all the drama that other creators have done. It's not a bad thing. Because for me it is refreshing and I like the direction your universe is going. So do keep up the good work and enjoy it.

Crovan is a version of a LNER c11 but they were the North British Railway H class I Like crovan on that version becuase when went to visit Doncaster in England I saw the Surviving Files of the LNER c11s or NBR H classes so they were not forgotten at all those files were first found in in June 25 in 1988

I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love this version of Crovan from Engine Arrival much better than the version from NWR origins when the locomotive ONLY apparently appeared to go by the number 87546 instead of a simple name, but it's completely obviously clear that this version of Crovan had been built with the Fat Controller's favorite Atlantic type of wheel configuration in the design of an L N E R class 11 who's basically considered to be MUCH friendlier! I've especially wanted to mention that I personally do perfectly agree that the face mesh seems to be just a little bit weird, but I personally give full marks on this custom made Crovan as it's completely obviously clear to be exactly 100% MUCH BETTER than the version of Crovan from NWR origins that apparently ONLY went by 87546 as his identity instead of a simple name UNTIL the governor of Sodor purchased the locomotive as his own official private steam-driven railway tender locomotive!

Crovan is a North British H-Class Atlantic, which became a C11 under LNER. The C1 was an Ivatt design from the GNR, The Robinson Atlantics were C4, and were called 8B under the GCR

i also have a idea for lore.if you choose to include the sodor steamworks ,my idea would e cool. i always wondered how engines where shunted around in the works, since victor cant do it. so then i created a au characther , jackson the lner y7 , the y7 is an 040 tank engine used for shunting and work in lner repair shops. i imagian jackson would shunt the broken engine into the repair births , and bring supplies into the works
My head-canon: Crovan was usually arrogant but at-least had a sense of morals, but one day, would change his life. On November 6, 1915 Crovan was right behind Alfred double-heading a passenger train with old gas heated coaches, when Crovan saw a yellow signal, Crovan slowed down but Alfred went on not looking ahead, up ahead was The Fowler engine: Jenny, going forward onto the same line as the double-header then DISASTER STRUCK! Alfred rammed into Jenny causing a HUGE crash, & to make things worse, gordon tripped over the wreckage and a fire broke out! 383 Were injured & 57 DIED, Jenny was critically damaged but barely survived, Alfred was badly damaged but DIDNT GIVE A KUWRA, Crovan was also badly damaged & TRAUMATIZED by what happened, And finally, Gordon was damaged, but had a easy repair. The UK was shocked that two 3-train collisions happened not too far apart, (And by that i mean the WORST british train crash) Crovan went into a wooden shed until he was purchased by the NWR with Alfred on trial for a Month, he was became more kind ever since he returned to Sodor much nicer than before.
I like this episode but in real life I like to see a replica or new build of a LNER C11 in real life someday seeing that Midlothian was sold for parts for the war never to be a fully preserved locomotive in a museum.

Wow I cannot believe that Alfred made some of the weirdest insults to Henry Merlin Thomas Toby Edward and Percy which i didn’t appreciate but I’m glad that crovan is much friendly and did save Henry which is why I like the episode a lot
