Both boys off at the same time!!!! Slippery slope my friend , slippery slope :-) Great video Rob - short, but great content. Especially appreciated the thought processes for the diagnosis on the R40. Keep up the great work.
The last cooker I went to the lady of the house was preparing for a dinner party, I’ll be done in a moment she said 😂 I only have a few cookers on my books now. Great explanation on the breakdown. Up the Bobers!
Thanks for the comment. Yes there will be plenty more of these as time goes on. I try to wait until i see one in the field so people see it first hand rather than a workshop. If you want anything covering that may help you please let us know and we will do our best. Have a good weekend. Rob
Hello ! The reason you cant have the flexi outside the boiler is a fire hazard. If there was a fire outside the boiler the line would melt and there is no fire protection there. Prob never happen but there is always one. Also if something sharp lands on it then it could cut it and you get oil! Finally if it leaks in theory it is contained in the boiler..... Well sort of! Have a good week mate.
Hi. Thanks for the comment. Normally if it is the box then the box smells and the motor is totally dead and the fuse has blown . If the boiler just humms or is noisy then it tends to be the motor. Hope this helps. Rob

Thanks mate. have a good one.
Hi Rob, great video as always! I didn’t know a flexi couldn’t be outside the boiler casing, what’s the reason for this?

Ah makes sense I suppose! Cheers Roberto!
Great video. If the white wire was sending back 230v instead of 50v would that indicate a new motor is needed?
Yes! In addition to a new control box, which would be fried by the 230v
Yes it would mate. This is the same on a rdb control box as well. Ps They do smoke well when they fry!
Nice clear dionysius. Yes you probably could have guested the control box. But testing to know makes you good not lucky
Thanks for the comment. Keep up the good work. Rob
How can you tell the diffrence if its the cobtrol box or the motor thsts faulty?? Thanks
