ABOUT JURASSIC WORLD: EVOLUTION
It's here, a game 65 million years in the making. Jurassic World: Evolution will let us take control of our own Jurassic Parks in a way never seen before, with a huge range of 42+ dinosaurs including old favourites like the Velociraptor and new monstrous beasts like the Indominus Rex, it's sure to get messy by the end. In this playthrough of Jurassic World Evolution we will complete every mission and 5 star all 5 of The Five Deaths, or just watch as a Spinosaurus eats my guests whole, either or really.
No swearing, family friendly commentary.

Like the skin rewards, but I wish they were Jurassic Park reference skins. Examples: bull Rex from the lost world, raptor squad from JW, things like that

@@Jamestopboy but maxing out the dinosaur rating will only give you two and a half stars because you also need to max out your facility rating.

I’ve been early to every one of our videos you’ve released today. Don’t know what else to say, but keep up the good videos :))
Instead of building an additional small power station at the start, I researched powerstation upgrades. Then I deactivated certain buildings that I wasn't using at the time. Usually bouncing between the research building and the creation lab.
Also, I noticed I don't have any guests in my park until I build a viewing center. Essentially forcing you to use them, which I have no problem with.
You got quite a lot done in 40 minutes

Can I use this same strategy for Jurassic mode? When are you doing Jurassic mode? I am really stuck at 1.5 stars and keep getting screwed in the ass from hurricanes and lose money from damage to power and Dino’s escaping.

Wanted to let you know that there are quite a few bugs in the game now since the patch, includin' the inability to MOVE tranq'd dinosaurs. So that means you'd better not have them n a different enclosure and want to relocate them, cause they'll slowly die instead of bein' able to be moved.
Also a bunch of us cannot interact with anything using a save that was made pre-update
None of the new features work, in addition to non-functional ACU's and Ranger stations.
I guess all we can do is watch others play, since we can't even roll back because the ever-sucky Steam will not permit that.
I don’t encounter this problem, I was able to move a whole group of Kentros perfectly fine after the update
Seems that it's an issue that a lot of people are complain' about. Views don't work. Gates don't open. You can't move dinosaurs. You can tranq them, but only if you select the helicopter. You're basically unable to do anything from the open windows of the main facilities.
THE FLASHIN' QUIT GAME BUTTON IS THE BEST BUG. I had to cntrl + alt + del my way outta it cause it just locked up tryin' to EXIT.
Fun one is when the giga is about to die in a fight, i actually saw it flash a couple times momentarily to its original smaller size during the final attack, then flip to the larger size in time to have the neck broken.

Looks like using a save file from someone who does not have the issue will let you get functionality back but you will lose all your own saves in the process. Just be sure that you match up versions (referring to Deluxe or not) and turn off the Steam Cloud sync for saves. When Frontier fails, life finds a way.

I've noticed you're still manually rotating the guest buildings to put against the paths, and have said in previous videos that it seems random with the path snap. If you put your cursor over the middle of the path the stores and the bunker snap and you can move the position by just sliding the cursor along the path. Otherwise the cursor is just over the middle of the building. It snaps every time for me doing that.
Doesn't work for the hotel, monorail, or ops buildings though. I wish it were an option with those.

Balancing the 3 is hard if you keep replacing science with science without doing the other 2.
Also my dino variety is killing me and I have 2 Triceratops,4 struthy, 2edmontosaurs 2corythosaurs and 2cerarosaurs and one anky . I have been playing with their genomes.
Also vaccines are a must as is power stations and maybe upgraded fences. I see no harm in genome as well and some building upgrades

I finally decided to subscribe to you so I can see you play these challenge modes haha
Personally Challenge mode is ok.This is just me so please no hate but hear me out. I have the game and I still play it but when I tried challenge mode it personally in the end felt more like I was the game or do I dare say it felt like a chore. Felt wrong in a way. I like lookin at the details, seeing everyone happy, and building my own park with ease and no time limit. This is just me though and I know that there are many that’s like this. I’m just putting my personal preference.
Things I think should be implemented in JWE
FYI this is a long list and if I’m missing anything let me know and I’d like to hear anything anyones input
•Main and important things 1st
- more terrain tools and decorations and attractions
•Improved AI making the dinos and guest feel more alive
Includes
- better herding/ flocking, better socializing, introduce pack hunting and attacks, more animations in general and of course more death animations, dinos actual having territorial battles / dominance displays like the trikes and pachys head butting not just trying to intimidate each other that was a good step though, dinos defecating,
maybe carnivores being able to rip a goat/ people in half if they both want to eat one like the rexs in TLW and JWFK, also if they are pack animals like raptors / herding animals like trikes,pachys,Anky,& stegos maybe protect one of their own if being attacked.
On the topic of packs the allosaurus social should be increased to at least 3 since they’ve been know to be pack hunters and allow pack attacks so allos and gigas can kill the sauropods and that raptors can attack a bigger carnivore/ herbivore together
-Make it that certain dinos can’t break trough certain of the fences and that raptors don’t headbutt the fences but try to climb it and test it so they would require electric fences all the time also that some herbivores like the hadrosaurs and gallies just get depressed and sick instead of attacking fences.
-Have the sauropods attack the fences with their tails or try to stomp on it instead of kicking it and have them be able to defend themselves as well as the pachys and have the more defenseless herbivores have a chance to run away.
-The ability to be able to run over small dinos/guest and have the jeeps be able to be destroyed.
-More security measures
You should be able to put down dinos from the helicopter if needed, have security cameras, have sentry turrets,
Scent lures.
-A actual site B mode were the herbivores don’t require feeders and a island generator.
-Add movie skins for all the dinos that have been featured in them and any skins described in the lore and maybe from some games
-Give all the dinos their og JP sounds if they don’t already have them since some of them don’t
-fix the memenchi model and the carno the eyes are a bit too big someone else posted about it the stance for it is also not right when it roars
So in short everything JPOG has plus a some more things and these are things if want to slowly be implemented in the game so frontier can just add things over time and it should be free since it was all in Jpog and that game is 15 years old this game should be just as good and better.
•As for DLC these can be paid for
They can add more Dino’s from jp/jw lore that could also bring int JPOG dinos that we don’t have and small dinos smaller than any we have.
-An aviary dlc and an aquatic/ corocidilian and amphibian dlc
-A JPOG or just a JP dlc that adds JP buildings and attractions as well as the missing jpog dinos if it’s a JPOG dlc and they aren’t brought in before or (I doubt they’d do this but) just bring in jp versions of the dinos like a more TLW looking stego, og JP trike and raptors from TLW and JP3 since they do differ a bit and TLW trex since the JW rex is based off the old rexy which older looking and is the largest Rex so TLW varrient would be look like more robust but be a bit smaller then he rex we have in game but not by much since rexy is 16ft tall same as the spino TLW rexs were 15ft tall and 40ft long and the jp3 subadult was 14ft tall and 37ft long.
Well that’s all I could think of for now so if you read the whole thing I’d like to know your input and thank you for reading it lol

I have failed medium 5 times and only once did I specifically focus on herbivores and when I ran out of time I was still fighting to get my 3rd star
Hunting is still broken in my experience...almost to the point I noticed no changes at all in carnivore behavior.
Not doin' it right OR you don't even have the update.

I don't think the stars will take an equal amount of time. Since you're just starting out and money is scarce 1 star takes relatively long. As flow of money increases 2 and 3 star accelerate, while 4 star will likely be where the speed peaks. 5 star however slows down to a crawl since the last bits of it is a lot about fine tuning.

Having done one of the challenges I have to rant.
Frontier, you're sooo close to getting this right, so very close. And that's the problem, it all needs just a little bit more. You fixed a lot of things with the dinosaurs and gave us a challenge mode, all for free. But that challenge mode, 4 challenges only varying in difficulty and only 2 in game rewards. Look at what Jurassic Park Operation Genesis did, they had the "build a park" challenges, but spiced it up with limited choices. And then they had safari and ranger missions: take pictures, shoot dinosaurs, fix parks. Just a little bit more Frontier, just a little bit more.

I like challenge mode because you can get everything in the game just by getting a higher star rating
Hey guys ! Am I the only with no info panel on individual dinosaurs since the update ? Or is it something normal under Challenge Mode rules ? (I started on Easy difficulty)
I have the same problem, wondering if it's a challenge mode rule or just an error. It pissed me off because i had dinosaurs breaking out and i cant see why they are unhappy......
Does anyone know if you have to get par time to get the skins or just acheive 5 stars with no time pressure?

Atm, I'm stuck on easy mode. I'm approx at isla muerta level and nearly 2/3 of my time. Yes I don't have carnivores yet, but I don't want to until I have concrete walls, or electrified heavy steel
On campaign mode I put a Ceratosaurus on Matanceros with a light steel fence and nothing happened, just make sure their needs are met
so has it rained in sandbox yet?

Maybe I will have to start the game up again. But before I do is there a load game option in opening menu? If there is click that and see if like save had 2 tabs maybe that will work.
Sorry it's been awhile since I played, and now that challenge mode is back I want to play more but now I am working so finding time to play isn't easy, but I will still try and help you.

That sucks sorry about that. Now that I think about it since they are saved in 2 different files then playing you can pause and hit load game and you should be allowed to switch between the two

Personally, I’d rather they put all their initial effort trying to fix the game and add new modes for replay value. Once enough of those touch-ups to the core gameplay itself are done, then I think it would be a good time to add more dinosaurs.

New dinosaurs are not needed. Be prepared to pay for attractions/islands.
The hell they aren't! Dinosuars is all this game is about, playing to make a park is boring, you only have 48 but considering they are ALL reskins of a certain modle. You have basically 9 if you count Spinosuarids and small carnivores seperate from the other Theropods, if you don't you have 7, seven dinosuars? Booooooorrrring! We NEED Sarchosucus, to get a nice Quadrapedal Carnivore thats also amphibious, and of course the much needed Pterosaurs and Aquatic Dinosaurs. you want to blow JPOG oitta the water? Give us the WHOLE island on sandbox mode, get rid of all the human crap, just need hamond centers, let the Dinos eat without feeders, and get a better range on Dinosaur appearance and mobility. The basically same 7 dinos is not "fine"
