The aesthetics of the boss and the arena also gave me some kind of Blasphemous vibes hahaha Especially with the boss's three-faced head I wonder if this was a reference!
I always mistake Bouree On The Board for The Moonshine Mob. Because of the board's/platforms on Bootlegger Boogie but I notice it doesn't fit. So BOOTLEGGER BOOGIE!
@@toophoot2757 Main differences I could find: Pawns: 0:33 Xylophone solo; 0:58 Trumpet melody Knight: 2:09 Flute melody; 2:29 Violin solo Bishop: 4:24 Guitar or Lute solo; 4:50 Trumpet melody Rook: 6:01 Clarinet(?) melody; 6:21 Trombone solo There are more differences I can hear in the instruments used during the orchestral parts, but they are too many and too subtle, for me to find out specifically.
All four playing at the same time: ua-cam.com/video/hx_xyBHRqHY/v-deo.html
Honestly, it’s quite clever that all 4 are combined for the official soundtrack!!!
There's actually 5 versions, the soundtrack has a trumpet that never plays in game
Pawns : Xylophone
Knight : Violin
Bishop : Guitar
Rook : Trombone
Bishop is the violin
@@gnome2812 issue... its not...
Well spotted
@@ydr0078 wait what does he even referring? The first seconds or the last ones?
@@gnome2812 2:29 violin part begins for Knight
4:26 guitar part begins for Bishop
The Queen's theme is referred to as "The Queen's Riguadon" while all four other bosses have "Bourree on the Board" and its four variants.
3:00 That solo... That violin solo it's just gorgeous
Look at it techanically, when the knight says, "...L for you," He could be also refering to how a knight moves. Or the hosre plays fortnite
Or he uses twitter…
i do not understand how the quote associates with either fortnite or twitter
That's probably what MDHR meant
@@Snukkuri “Take an L” is a phrase commonly used in video game chats as well as sites such as Twitter

Knights violin solo is my favorite
6:21 that solo is so good 😩
I like it a lot too
It's got that stank
i feel like the rooks bourree on the board is the best. the trombone really steals the show above all the rest.
Knight version is the best one!
2:29-2:54 is by far the best imo
So true
True
I prefer the solo, but the flute doesn't do it for me
Agreed
The Knight has the best themes honestly
The Rook has the best variation out of all of them in my opinion
knight or bishop for me
The Bishop one ironically sounds like it's from Blasphemous lmao
It reminded me of it too!
Probably cause they both sort of lay in to the "Spanish Guitar" theme.
The aesthetics of the boss and the arena also gave me some kind of Blasphemous vibes hahaha
Especially with the boss's three-faced head
I wonder if this was a reference!
@@thesnatcher3616 Are you referring to a particular piece of music or just the general theme of guitars in Spanish music.
@@enclavesoldier8893 Just the acoustic guitar, I imagine.
Check out the soundtrack for Blasphemous (and the game itself) if you haven't done so yet.
Bishop's Solo is my Personal favorite
Oh man you definitely need to play them all at the same time to see how it sounds!
Great idea! Lemme try it out...

There is a very long solo that happens in the 1:03 timestamp of each ost, with noticeable changes.
OMG
I saw other OST.
They are the same except queen.
In fact, three bosses are still different!
I hope you could create a version is they are playing same time(remix).
It should be awesome!

That's just checkers then??
Rook’s my favourite! Anyone else?
By the way, there's an in-game version of King of Games' Castle that hasn't surfaced yet for anyone would get to that please?

Wrong. There's *five* including the OST version
what font is that for their names?
It's not the same as the Cuphead font, but it's similar. It's called "Madness Hyperactive".
