Great demonstration. What is the altered fork measurement in relation to the lowered rear? Different makes of bikes will have different geometry/rake so the relative measured formula will be different as well. Thanks for any correspondence.
Nice video thanks
A little know-how, the right tools, and the magic of video editing, makes all the difference.😉
👍
Thank you .
I think you can lower the front by 1 inch. Did you lower it or left it? Thanks for the video!
I thought the forks were supposed to be slid up the same amount the rear gets lowered?
If I ever ride mine/I gotta replace the seat with an old Sportster seat or even a solo seat.
I'm not paying 340.00 for a 50.00 seat.
Were you Obama,s voice coach?
You'll have to add /UH between several uh words.
Great video!
Greetings Max,
As always another brilliant detailed video 🇺🇸🍾🎉🇺🇸
Did the lower link affect the ground clearance?
Thank you so much for assisting me
Keep producing more videos
Thanks for the support and yes, as you lower the bike, you lose ground clearance
Never showed how much lower it was 😢
Did you have bring the forks up in the front too? To keep the bike somewhat level?
Yes
What is the link to the kick stand stand how far down and you drop the forks in MM?
I believe I showed the company the parts came from at the beginning of the video
Sehr interessant. Können Sie mir sagen, wo Zeta-Produkte in Europa zu finden sind? Vielen Dank! / Very interesting. Can you tell me where Zeta products can be found in Europe? Thank you!
Hey man!
Love your vedios..
Is there any cons of lowering link in rally?
Less ground clearance that’s about it
I wish you would have done a free measurement at the bike in like three different places. And then do a post measurement of how much the bike actually dropped.
I agree. Would like to see the difference!
Could you lower it by 3 inches at least as per the Soupy's item description?
Yes
Shouldn't you also drop the front forks to keep everything proportional?
never lower the front of a bike

How many inches did you lower it?
I’m not exactly sure I think it was one or 1 1/2 inches but it is adjustable and can go down a little farther.
@@Maxsmotoshop do you think you lower the rear to about 3 inches? How much you can lower the front forks?
@@docjoebie you can get handlebar risers to lower the front more too.
Forgot to adjust the chain
After installing the Koubalink, my chain was still in spec at 50-55 mm.
I used some Blue LocTite on this comment.
👍
@@Maxsmotoshop Man, I can't break that 17 mm bolt to get started. Wrench keeps sliding off. It's super tight.
@@clvrswine try a six point socket
@@Maxsmotoshop Thanks man! I did exactly that! $7 solution, but not before I shredded my forearm on the chain. I used my right foot on the other wrench to keep the 14 mm side from spinning. I torqued the lower bolts to spec, but could not fit the torque wrench to the top ones. I am really happy with the height now. Lowered the forks after a few days.
