I've made so many games over many years but it was your video on Nodebuster that made me went like hey I can do something simple like this game too!! I'm really grateful. I definitely, definitely have that mentality you mentioned at 2:30:00 so I get you completely. I'm so eloquent when I'm talking to myself, typing stuff on my own, in my work documents, etc. but when I try and talk to people I, for some reason, keep blocking myself and sound like a caveman. Is there a name to this phenomena I wonder.
-Can’t you just barrel into the asteroids to take advantage of bullet AOE on overlapping asteroids?- -It just seems like a good move to do; constantly being within an asteroid guarantees that you’ll always be hitting that asteroid, and I think that it also helps out the rotating bullets a bit as well.- I don’t feel like deleting.
-It almost like you’re kinda afraid of crashing into the asteroids, even after you confirmed that they did no damage.- -Or, are you just deliberately doing that to hit random asteroids for the energy they give?- -I think that it might be wiser to perceive the asteroids more like area zones you can freely enter through than physical objects.- 1:16:59 I suppose that this solves my issue? Rough early game though. 1:27:16 O_o 2:13:30 After a certain point, dropping those spiral bullets feels like dropping ☢️💥. Definitely insane if you center it onto a strong asteroid, much less a horde.
This skill tree is not good. Can't see where you are going, full of bloat upgrades. Seems like made the tree design first and had to find a way to fill it.
I designed the skill tree after the gameplay. I tried to do a more traditional skill tree with more traditional upgrades but I found myself being not very good at art. The solution? It was to make a percentage focused skill tree with a few simple upgrades. It did turn out to be super basic though and I realized that before launch, in fact I didn't really like it that much but I had a deadline of Nov 15th since I've been working on it for 2 months and was getting exhausted from working on it. But this is also a reason why I'm selling it for $1. I'll just learn to not use a skill tree for percentage upgrades unless it's more like a PoE skill tree with varied upgrades where you can choose to put points into a build. Hope you didn't mind it too much. Thankfully the game is short so it's easy to pick up and drop.
@itsjustmonu even so, Bravo to you for getting it to launch! I've had ideas to make a game, but just don't have the discipline to get beyond a drawing board. Any ideas of what you'll do next?
@@starshot9418 No. If you watch LOTR director's cut, or extended ,or normal, it all the same move, each one is just missing different portions. I am not saying they are identical. I am saying they both started as the same thing, and then something was removed from one of them. All 3 movies are still called LOTR, and they still have the same story, and plot, but one version has extra stuff that does not change the story.
Sorry but this is the last time I’m watching your video. You were too greedy and put too many ads. If it was a highly edited video I could understand but so many ads on a video that only has 1 cut in the middle is too much greed for me
I don't think you understand how ads work. The creator doesn't choose how many ads a video has UA-cam does and the longer the video the more ads UA-cam will put on the video.

Astroid is a mass outside of the atmosphere, meteor is inside the atmosphere
Should also mention a meteor burns up in the atmosphere and the meteorite hits the earth.
