Well done Frank.A right mixed weather day you got .Nothing worse than trying to cycle on a gravel path like that one to the lodge and the wind is buffeting you about, lol.Done Carn Bhac as a single one and picked up Beinn Iutharn Mhòr with it's 2 neighbours from Spittal of Glenshee.Thank God for bikes though to cut out long walks and there's a few down that neck of the woods.😀👍

Nice one. Some strong winds, but great when they blow back the curtain of cloud for the views. 👍 Cheers, Andy.

a couple of years ago I did BLM from Glenshee Village and it took me over 9 hours ...I was shattered ! I did Carn Bhac from Inverey many years ago and it was a lovely day out but I was much younger...!

Hi mike, yeh it’s a fair day out from whichever direction you choose, that’s why I took the bike.

Nice route guide up Carn Bhac from Altanour. That's my wee tent getting an airing by the lodge there!

A bit blowy there Frank! Haven't been up there but now have a good idea of what to expect. Could be a good winter walk? Paul

Yeh it was very windy on the 2nd top Paul, but still a good walk. Think most of the hills in that area would be good winter walks.
      Cheers, Frank.

Hi Stevie, thanks for the comments, yeh on that 2nd top it was blowing a hooly. There’s nice camping spots next to the old lodge.

You are fair racking up the numbers recently Frank. Well done. My plans for this month aren't going as planned. Never got to Ben Avon last week as my heart wasn't in it and was having doubts so never went. First time that has happened! Also, my mates ankle still not ready for doing a few hikes next week. Will still head north but will stick to low level stuff. Going to fall short of my year end target ! arrggh!!!

That’s a shame Andrew, what are you having doubts about.? Pity about your mates ankle, it can take a bit of time to heal properly. I was out for about 5 months with my Achilles a couple years back. The mountains will be waiting still Andrew, I’m sure you’ll catch up with your goals next year. Hopefully me & Dave will be up in Glen Shiel this weekend.

@@hikingwithfrank315 Thanks Frank. not sure what came over me. I think it was a brief loss of my Munro Jo! Need to get it back soon. Enjoy your hike this weekend.
