I realize that what the people of earlier times didn’t know was: how much damage that absent fathers would do to the children - especially females of modern times today… so Allah already knew what was to come so knowledge beyond our understanding was given to create these types of provisions (like the father marrying his daughter to an entrusted male of his own community) because the safety and protection of his daughter would be secured… Whereas today is a reflection of what the lack of such protection can do : pregnancy out of wedlock, prostitution etc - which translates inevitably to Zina… May Allah grant us acceptance and understanding
Oh I didn't know that "I'm a gold digger , he can't afford me anymore, I might fall into Kufur" reason is valid for divorce. The issue in North America is that she will talk half the house and everything and probably custody of children.
Salam Dr. Shadee, how is this different from the concept of Karma? We don't know how Allah will reward or punish us for our good deeds and wrongdoings, right? What is the proof that a person will get the same punishment in this life? And also, what about the Day of Judgement? (Timestamp 1:12) please clarify so there is no confusion. JAK!
The hadith says, "As you do, such will return unto you." And "Is not the reward of a bad deed also something bad." Quran. So we can say this is a general principle. Yet also we have tawba and washing away sins and even their consequences if the tawba is strong enough.
What if he marries her and after being married two years he does not love her (They don't have children). She probably would be considered attractive to other men, but she is not attractive to him and he finds a very low desire for her. If he divorces her due to lack of love or low attraction, would he be considered sinful or an oppressor?
If in the two years of being the Man doesnt have a desire for his Wife then there is something wrong with the Man. What did he do in those two years to bring about desire and affection towards her? If he is focused on his desires towards other women, then of course he wont have much desire for his Wife. What about the good in his Wife? Is that not enough to desire the Wife? Beauty will fade. What other priblem do you have with her apart from sexual desires? He can Divorce her and lose a good faithful Woman and marry a Woman who is attractive and his life can turn upside down. You are marrying someones character, not someones beauty. Go back to the basics. The Prophet PBUH said, A woman is married for 4 things, go with the one who has Deen otherwise you will be a Loser. You should reconnect with Islam and see the beauty in your Wife and change your approach towards her. Make Du'a that Allah brings you closer to her and that you can appreciate and be grateful that Allah gave you a Wife. If she is not disobedient to Allah and fufills yours rights, then you need to focus on that over your desires. Lower your gaze and guard your modesty. Go home to your Wife when you desire other women. Desires will always be there but a good woman by your side wont always be there. The grass is not always greener on the other side. I hope you work things out. Divorce is very painful.
Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakato Recently i have been thinking of starting an improvement channel i would try to make sure that the tips that i share is Not promoting haram. But the thing is i am having this doubt that running an improvement channel might assist in providing non Muslim with tips which they can use to improve their lifes. I was thinking that i might provide them with information which they could utilise to improve their lifes and then give them dawa . But what if this information helped young non Muslim more then muslims? So would it be wrong for me to run an improvement channel. Ik it sounds silly and i am 50% sure that its not wrong but i had ocd that's why i am cross checking.
I really like these short videos you are doing. I don't always have time to tune into NBF so this is great.

I thought you don’t have to return your mahar after you divorce.
