Its a beauty and a rare Japanese classic as well. For the motor, why not fit a Honda Civic one from the 80's onward. I know getting the gearbox shoehorned would be a challenge and also the early Civic motors rotated counterclockwise. Looking forward to the rebuild.💫
really cool to see the car has a heater in it. if its original that is quite rare in Australia. Also i have owned over 50 probably closer to 80 of these S series cars in NSW since the 70's & never had or even seen one that was rolled over unless it was on purpose. Good luck with the build. Looking forward to watching your progress.
Very interesting. Did you say 150mm wider? Interesting how some people long to put wide body kits on their cars. It will be fascinating to see how you can shorten the width of your suspension.
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals I guess this must have bin happend in the late 1960`s . I found the Test Result Reports in the german ,, Classic Car " / Oldtimer Classic " Magazin news paper in 1977 when this news paper published reports about ,, the first Nippon Bonsai Racers " Honda Coupe & Roadster . As far as i am right remembering the late 1960`s ,, Dyno " test stand made this experiment at the TU Aachen ( TU = Technische Universität ) .
Nice project, I fitted my Honda S800 with a kawasaki zx9r engine. Great fun to drive and sounds brilliant. 👍
You did the superfastmatt thing
Excited to see this thing progress, good video, no fluff.

Good job fella 👌
Looking forward to seeing how it progresses!
Currently just started a similar process with a S600 convertible. I'm based in South Australia
Should try find mx5 subframes , lots narrower to start with , then watch some of Notevn stuff as he narrows them lots to fit in a cosmo
