The Biggest Unanswered Questions From The Expanse Season 6

- It seems like "The Expanse" has faced oblivion almost as often as the crew of the Rocinante. The series almost ended back in Season 3 when Syfy canceled the show, but fortunately for fans it was picked up by Amazon for another three seasons. This time, though, it appears the end is finally at hand. After an action-packed sixth season, "The Expanse" is leaving our world. But did the show wrap everything up for its fans? Hardly. Although the six-episode final season did manage to tie up a few plot threads, there was no way to give closure on every aspect of a universe that's so…expansive. Here are the biggest unanswered questions from "The Expanse" season 6.

What questions did you have from "The Expanse" Season 6?
Who has the Razorback? How Mao died. We know he died in prison, but was it foul play? When will we see the Mormon vengeance for what happened to their generational ship?
A Belter, a Martian, and an Earther walk into a bar. Bartender asks what they'll have.
Belter: “I’ll have a glass of your finest Martian whiskey. Drinking like my enemy lets me think like my enemy.”
Martian: “A glass of your finest Earther tequila. Drinking like my enemy also lets me think like my enemy.”
Earther: ???
I have two questions related to possibility of future events and continuation of the series:
1. Wondering if Clarissa Mao could be fixed by Strange Dogs? If Amos learns about her condition and events on Laconia, he wouldn't hesitate to go there for her. Not in the Books, but worth to try in the adaptation...
2. Time interval between Book 6 and 7 could be shortened (to 5-6 years) without too much damage to the plot. Protomolecule "magic" can smoothly explain this. Is it plausible?
@@rodesvilobo8670 They told the pointe of the joke, but it was not funny, just demeaning towards Belters.
My personal pointe was "just get us the hardest stuff you have to get us wasted then we'll punch our noses and be friends again for a while" - i thought it would fit, when all parties get punched by a common threat, they unite, at least for a while.
@@rodesvilobo8670 "Give me a glass of water....if I have to think like my enemies to win.....we all have already lost."
hands down the best SciFi series ever made IMO
BSG Remake???
It was. The show runners were too busy creating a certain narrative to be bothered with ending an amazing show properly. It's an absolute shame and an utter mess.
DS9 cough cough
Duh.. the BSG remake SUCKS...btw
Bsg’s ending was horrific my man
_"Iraros wasn't all wrong. He was evil and he was cruel but tapped into something real. He was able to do what he did because so many people were angry and frightened. They saw the future and they weren't in it. That's what this has to fix"._
_"I didn’t kill him because he was crazy. I killed him because he was making sense."_
Joe Miller (The Expanse)
@@LoneTiger That's the main line I remember from Miller because it was straight to the truth, facts and probability.
@@Michael-ez3zg Miller is by far my favorite expanse character, the actor made a hell of a job portraying Miller.
Miller reminds me of a more fatalist Samuel Vimes.
@@LoneTiger I can't pick a favorite from the Rocinante or the Drummer team but on Marco's team. Is it wrong that I am in love with the Evil No.2, man, woman, lady, she beast "Rosenfeld Guoliang" played by Kathleen Robertson...
When she said "Is it bad? am I hit? I don't wanna to go". I was cutting a lot of onions and hot peppers.
@@LoneTiger STAY AWAY FROM THE AQUA!!!
For what it's worth, the series did the books justice... I love it. As for Alex Kamal, given the sh!tstorm, the series handled Alex's absence the best it could.
No. Alex is still ALIVE! in the books.
He didn’t suggest that Alex wasn’t still alive in the books.
That's my concern though. If they do eventually continue the series, they already killed off Alex cause the actor portraying him was a douchebag.
There would be no way to fix what a simple recast before season 6 would have rectified.
@@tmmartinesq.6216 As Ed S said. I know Alex is alive in the books, that's why given the circumstances of His TV Series' counterpart, I said that I said.
I don't know how advanced was season 5 production when they learned what they learned about Cas Anvar. But they could have done better depending on how much time they had to manage it. Unfortunately there is no such thing in expanse such as mind transfer. If there was, it would be a piece of cake.
It was a satisfying finale that wrapped up the major storyline while planting seeds to cover the final three novels in the future with a follow-up series, miniseries, or movies.
I'm sorry but I TOTALLY disagree - so many new things were brought up in season 6 that were never answered - it was FAR from satisfying, in fact it was extremely frustrating. Shows constantly "setting up" other things is also extremely frustrating - while I LOVED the show we didn't get a finale at all, we got more questions, tons of open plot threads and VERY little answers. I'd LOVE to see more from The Expanse, but right now there is nothing planned - so this is what we got and it is FAR from complete. FAR from it.
I can't believe that Bezos doesn't want to see the rest of the books filmed as much as we do. As for the final season and finale, I was more than happy: they did what they could with a limited budget and a natural break in the story. I've not enjoyed a series so much since DS9.
The last three books are set thirty years in the future, so this is a natural break. I certainly hope that they will also be adapted for the screen someday.
Most main Rocinante crew characters will die in the later books, so maybe this was a proper audiovisual ending on the TV media ;-) These facts from books 7-9 were also mentioned by the Ty & That Guy podcasts.
Bezos has nothing to do with Amazon studios now, so probably didn’t have much say in it, too busy trying to get to space himself….
The show didn't attract audience as expected. It's all about money.
Well, the last 3 books are about people in their 60s and 70s doing stuff. If you cant attract people to watch your show about young folk, what chance do you have if you make a show about old farts saving the world? :)
#1 SciFi series IMO. I mean come on even the physics they use for space is actually legitimately how things could/would work in real space. It's awesome!
Have you ever noticed the small thrusters on the backs of the PDCs? That is SUCH a great little detail as while firing if you didn't have that thruster to compensate the PDCs would affect the flight path of the ship. Just one of the wonderful small details in a show full of them
When the Laconia's Admiral Winston Duarte said to Marco Inaros..., "You were a useful distraction but I have gods to kill". In other words, you are merely an ant that I played with but did not step on.
It wasn't an alien ship that Duarte was looking at. It was an alien shipyard for building ships with alien tech. That is why The Martian Navy splinter group took Laconia and shut down the gate. They needed time to build a new civilization and a new navy.
Well, it's a half built ship IN the alien shipyard that has absolutely ludicrous technology on board, including the laconian magnetic deathstar weapon.
It is both an alien ship and a shipyard
yeah in the book it says that there's a partially built alien ship in the shipyard
When Duarte tells Marko:
“You’ve been a useful distraction, but I’ve got gods to kill.”
What it meant was actually straight forward.
It was a slap in the face. Marko believed himself to be a demigod., because “I did this!” Marco only succeeded because he had help from Duarte and his Marian faction’s logistical and with Martian military hardware and support, because they needed the distraction to setup shop on Laconia and get things running and weaken the old dynamic in the process. And besides for setting up the dream of Mars on Laconia, Duarte had a plan to rule over humanity and “save” them from the Dark Gods, the Ring entities that live in the space between spaces that wiped out the Builders before they wipe out humanity.
And Holden understood at the end of season 5 that Duarte had taken the proto-molecule sample through the Laconian Ring. But, he didn’t know the reasons why.
One of the best shows in SO LONG. Everyone should watch it.
And badass women everywhere without being insufferably feminist about it. Heck, even polyamorous belter relationships felt totally normal in the show. The writing and acting was top stellar throughout the show.
I'm watching The Expanse for a second time now, it's that good.
@@RedSaint83 Agreed, well at least about the badass women but not at all about your feminist comment. Seems you must be very conflicted in like and hating strong women.
@@evertonporter7887 I just finished my 2nd watch through a few minutes ago - and I'm genuinely sad that it's over again, and I'm SOOO frustrated with how bad the ending is. LOVED the show but sooooo much was left unanswered and unaddressed. SO frustrating. A show so fantastic deserved an actual conclusion.
They will be picking the series up again in another 5 to 7 years, depending on everyone’s schedules. The showrunners decided to pause the series for now because in the books, there’s nearly a 30 year gap between where the tv series ended with season 6 and the last storyline of the book series. Things need time to develop and the actors need to age up some, because completely recasting them will fill more like a spin-off series.
Duarte was actually referenced earlier in season 5 when Bobbie was going over a list of suspects. The Expanse made use of high definition. If you anything on the screen that can be made out in the later seasons, it is highly worth the effort to hit pause and check it out.
Best show ever, not just sci-fi. If they don't make another series I'll do it myself
Riiiiiight, sure you will.
when she brought her brother back all i could think of was Pet Semetery scene where the Mom sees her undead daughter and is terrified, I was like Hug your son lol
The dad cutting his son with a knife didnt seem credible to me? Attack is not a parents 1st reaction when seeing their resurrected child.
As soon as they showed the bird alive again the writing was on the wall and I said out loud "oh, it's gonna be a Pet Cemetery". It was painfully obvious; many things in this show were.
He was a monster to them.
I really hope we get to see where these stories go. Personally I think Fillip realized his father was doing stupid things because of stupid motivation and left to be a more badass person than him, but the fact that he took his mothers surname means he will be conflicted while doing so. I haven't read the books so I could be way off.
Season 7 would be such a cool thing. What a fantastic show so far doe.
No season 6 is the last one right?
@@UnbornWarrior123 maybe. Book 7 fast forwards time by thirty years, so even if they planned to continue it, taking a break is normal. And even more normal not telling people there will be a more, for the sake of their peace.
I point of correction. Marco didn't technically defeat the inner's. Earth and Mars had destroyed the Free Navy's two other fleets, so Marco only had the ships that he had left after the fight with Drummer's fleet. And Marco's fleet had been the weaker of the three of the Free Navy and had won the fight with Drummer only because of the presence of the Pella, and Drummer's fleet did manage to destroy some of Marc's ships before they had to withdraw. Marc's only chance was to get into the ring space and try to get the railgun's back up and working before the fleets of Earth and Mars arrived. Even then he was in a weaken position.
Proto molecule creators built the ring gate. They build roads by sending samples throughout the galaxies, where the sample interact with any living material and object in a solar system to build a gate or ring i.e gate network like stargate the tv show. The protomolecule sent to earth system was a billion years old, but for some reason it got stuck in sarturn orbit, until humans evolve and developed solar capable rockets to reach saturn.
My theory/opinion is the proto molecule creators sent the sample to a galaxy that had more advanced aliens, unknowingly, who probably got pissed and wiped them out the proto molecule builders. You here when Holden said the proto molecule builders try to survive by destroying solar systems just to stop the alien entity, like cauterizing a wound, but they failed.
Kind of ... the thing is the "ring space" is in a different universe all together and the rings are gates between the universes. The ring station creates a bubble of our universe in theirs.. and those aliens were pretty pissed about it.
When Xan is talking to Cara there is one line that I can't shake: "What does 'in substrate' mean?"
I'm pretty sure Xan is communication through the protomolecule here, but can't help wonder if that was a throw-away line or something more.
Every scene of Laconia and every line is deliberate. None of it was wasted.
There are no throw-away lines in The Expanse. ;)
Xan is not speaking through the PM (or the PM through him), but he sees and knows stuff he didn't before, but he doesn't understand it. I will not go further here, read the books or wait for a (hopefully) later adaption of the remaining story.
Such an under-appreciated show
When Naomi saw Filip as a baby just before she pushed the button and when Amos laid and covered Bobbie and said "I got you, Bobbie", I wasn't the one crying, you were crying.
Right?😭😭😭
Holden must have felt like a real shitbag after that. When he disarmed the nuke, he thought he was saving their relationship, but all he was doing was offloading the burden on to her for killing her son.
@Ray
Point being, he had the opportunity to get it over with and didn't because he didn't was scared it would ruin his relationship with Naomi. And now she had to be the one to do it.
I've just rewatched the Expanse twice in the last 2 weeks, and I never cried when the show was released week to week, but seeing it all condensed like that is really powerful. I cried a lot in season 5, especially from the mid to end of that season.
Is it wrong that I am in love with the Evil No.2, man, woman, lady, she beast "Rosenfeld Guoliang" played by Kathleen Robertson...
When she said "Is it bad? am I hit? I don't wanna to go". I was just cutting onions and hot peppers.
Books 7 (Persepolis Rising) and 8 (Tiamat's Wrath) are crazy good!!! I love the Mesopotamian references as well as other historical references in the books to ancient empires, considering Duarte's MO is to establish Laconia as an Empire within the TV as in the books!
Season 6 of the Expanse reminds me of Babylon 5, where the main story arc is over, but there are unanswered questions and setups for future stories.
My biggest question is why someone would do a 'unanswered questions' video without having checked the facts first. Duarte first appears at Xan's funeral/memorial, not in episode 6. Those aren't 'space ships' hovering above Laconia, they are stations created by 'the Builders'.
It's a partially constructed battleship in a protomolecular orbital shipyard.
@@BigMikeMcBastard It's missing it's flux capacitor.
The question I want answered is did Amos sleep with Bobby? He invited her to, but the show left it as an invite.
Amos doesn't shit where he eats.
I'd go out on a limb here and say yes, because I feel like it's a reference from the books. Amos and Bobby don't have this scene from the books, but Alex (who is obviously not dead like in the show) ends up sleeping with one of the Belters working on the Rocinante in a kind of "we're about to go to war and probably die so let's do it" kinda vibe. I ship show Bobby and Amos but definitely not book Bobby or Amos for some reason, so I quite liked this addition.
It would be really awesome if the continue the show soon, with new actors portraying the characters 30 yrs in the future, like the The Crown. It would be a nice way to continue representing the ongoing stories.
Nah, I want to see more from these actors. They absolutely nail their roles, and I think it's fine to color them with some greyer hair and chalk it up to space-age healthcare for why they still look young.
hell to the naaww
follow the books. dont do what they did with GoT last season
In the books the characters are 30 years older, but they're also taking anti-aging drugs. They refer to them having salt-and-pepper hair and, like, Naomi noticing she has a bit more loose skin/wrinkles around her neck, but they're not at all incapacitated by age or anything. They're not "old", they're effectively probably in their 50s with the effects of the anti-aging drugs factored in.
To me, if season 1 of True Detective can handle its 20-year time jump, Expanse seasons 7 - 9 can do 30-years with anti-aging meds.
All of this proves the show needed more than 6 episodes for the final season. I waited until episode 6 dropped and binged them all in 24 hours.
Seeing Marco with his perfectly coifed man bun in 5 of the 6 episodes made it seem like the entire season could have been shot in like an afternoon.
The only thing they skipped from the book, disregarding the fact that they gave Michio's role to Drummer and killed off Dawes, Fred and Alex too early, was Holden doing the interviews with belters on Ceres instead of Monica, the inclusion of which would have killed the pace.
@@MrIrocknusuck yes, none of the changes had a meaningful impact. And we all know why they had to kill Alex. Wasn't a thing they wanted.
To be fair, they probably need three seasons to finish it all. 6 more episodes is not enough.
@@raphaelnascimentosilvestre7434 no way they can finish three entire books in six episodes.
Btw, there is a 30 years gap between book 6 (finished in season 6) and book 7.
I binged the whole show in 24hours from s1-s6 again..🤣🤣
Bravo for encouraging people to read the books.
The only problem is that the books weren't translated in all the languages that they released the series...
It is better continues... if they stop now they not just cause mental suffering on every Sci-fi fan but they are shooting themselves in the foot. This is solid gold. Not an uncertain risky IP. You can bet on it and win every time. I love the books and I love the series as well. . .
I dont know, somehow i think its not realy over with the Show. If you look at the End Credit of the Last Episode you can see at the end the entities forming more and more and the Protoship apearing in the middle of the ring. Like Foreshadowing something to come. ^^ I mean Clarissa has her Diagnosed with a 5 Year Life span and from what i heard she would be playing a big Role in the comming Books which seems to me they would / could bring something in the next year or so. Sure there would probably no Time Gap of 30 Years but maybe 5 years. Who know maybe im still just wishing it would not end YET. xD
The ship coming through is the heart of the tempest and honestly it's one of the best pieces of sci fi ever written (the next 3 books I mean)
Yeah but the authors said they r done and have already moved on to other projects. There may be more done by other writers and authors one day but all good things do come to an end. The actors and writers would want to move onto other projects so they can continue to grow. Sad but true.
Its the alien thing that faild it for me....we spent all the final last season in space pursuing a terrorist...and didnt explore the alien stuff...the epic seasons when Miller turned into some cool alien robot thing! What happened to all that ? What a shame.
It’s really just the Laconia plot that still needs to be tie up. And what they are planning to continue the series.
I feel the "space ship" above Laconia is not a ship, but instead an old busted off piece of the "rope" that forms the circumference of each of the holes in the sphere.
This series even with it's "flaws" was soooo good 👍. It's really hard to find the right words to describe how much I loved this series!
Most of these questions are answered in the final 3 books. (except Filip who isn't heared of again).
And while there were many minor differences between the books and the show, the big plot points were all the same, so the answers to the big questions you'll all find.
Filip is heard of again. See the Sins of our fathers
I believe you ask the right questions other than I personally could not care less about Naomi-Filip or the Sagas of callow youth Filip to come. I would have preferred the little time hogging sh*tt be disintegrated, I would have preferred it if Holden had ended it rather than melt at the sight of Filip's face like he was a long lost puppy dog.
I would have asked 2 more things:
Camina Drummer is now a main cog. How do she and the Belters allocate power now that Marcos is dead? Who runs the various moons and stations, who gets what ships after the war, etc.?
Somehow, the year the show had on Ulm is pointing on Elvie's research to make her a main character again.
I still think they can keep the same characters and instead of jumping 30 years they jump maybe 10 and it would still work with some makeup
It would not work, not really. Not without compressing the entire laconian arc to much and making it implausible.
They went from a colony to the most powerfull faction in 30 years. It cant be done in 10.
@@jmkhenka aliens man, aliens
@@jmkhenka I think it would because Earth and Mars are so battered after the war. I think Peaches 5 year life expectancy is a clue
I feel they were setting up for the Laconia conflict but then got cancelled so the set-up was cut short.
Best show on Tv … gutted to c it go
I do like Camina Drummer's The Expanse version of a Smart Phone that's for sure.
Here's a theory you might give some thought. If the Expanse season 7 ever becomes fruitful, imagine that 'Peaches' is dying and sometime by the end of season 7 the Rocinante escape to the planet Laconia and have the 'dogs' fix Peaches into a hybrid human/machine proto-molecule being. She was dying anyway, so, taking the risk of being changed into something else would have been a consideration. Does being changed make you immortal? In which case, is that plot mechanism the method the story uses to finish off the rest of the Expanse books by keeping some of the characters alive more than a hundred years?
Just read Persepolis Rising and stop making stuff up.
Do the Laconians seem like they'd be willing to let the Roci mess with protomolecule tech on their planet?
This is actually a really interesting thought. Are you immortal, if you're changed by the PM and do you control your body or are you being controlled by the PM at least for some extent? You know, Miller was originally resurrected by the PM to be a Investigator and nothing else, until he overcame the boundaries set by PM.
Good clip
I wonder whether they'll write storylines following Filip after he defected from the Pella, or following Bertold and Oksana following their family split.

Earther: I'll take a glass of recycled piss.. I too like to drink like my enemy
Earther: I'll have a glass of spring water.. cuz I can
Miller: What does rain tastes like?
Earther: I'll just have a coffee.. I'm James Holden
The Earther drinks the Martian’s whiskey, points at the Belter and says, “he’s paying.”
Earther: "I also want to think like my enemy." He then points to another earther down the bar and says "I'll have what he's having"
Thank you for waiting before doing a major spoilers vid. Please follow this path with vids to come.
Speaking of major spoilers, if you haven’t read the last three books of The Expanse, I recommend avoiding articles dealing with a potential Expanse Season 7 or Expanse spinoff ideas, since they, unfortunately, tend to contain several spoilers for the last three books, often without warning.
I am pissed the series ended before the big question was even answered: who built the ring gates??
Ty Franck talks about it on his podcast with Wes Chatham, how a microwave to a monkey is all these different things, like a weapon for bludgeoning, a chest for storing stuff, or a light in the dark with the door open, and use it as a comparison with humans and the protomolecule. I like that it's a MacGuffin, makes it much more fun to speculate possibilities without knowing too much from the get-go.
Proto molecule creators built the ring gate. They build roads by sending samples throughout the galaxies, where the sample interact with any living material and object in a solar system to build a gate or ring i.e gate network like stargate the tv show. This is actually pretty much explored in the later books, aliens did it (duh) they were called "romans", some interesting facts are, they were a hive mind (so actually it was one big galaxy spanning alien) and consisted out of "enriched light", then the "goths" a.k.a "ring entities" wiped them out.. almost,..
The show did a good job sticking to the source material. If you want to know where all these leftover plot lines go read the books. It answers all the questions. And u get a sad yet satisfying ending.
Most of the way through book 7. Some of that would have been impressive to see in live action.

So does this mean that we will get a spinoff show that will help us with the 30year time jump.. because 30 years later will make all of our current protagonists too old to be relevant.. but the story still goes on.. and will obviously come to a proper conclusion..
Actually, anti aging meds mean that most of them are still middle aged by then. Avasarala obviously is at deaths door so not that useful, but the rest of the crew bar Clarissa obviously are in fairly good shape. Feeling their age obviously and not as agile as they used to be but still very much in action.
And the conclusion for the last book is awesome. Would recommend reading if you've ever got the time.
@@will2brown50 so the other books still actually revolve around the Rosinante?
@@TazCStorm yes. Mostly. I'd say there is more plot lines that deviate from the rocinante than before. The crew and ship remain relevant from beginning to end though. Obviously because humanity has spent 30 years colonizing the systems of the rings there's a large scope that makes focusing on the rocinante less practical, but it's still there
@@TazCStorm The age of the characters manifest as their hair being salt-and-pepper and Naomi being aware of the wrinkles on her neck. They aren't physically impaired at all, just aware they're not at their peak any longer (e.g. feeling the G's on hard burns more). With the anti-aging meds they're probably in their early 50s, effectively.
Why wasn’t the resurrected bird a proto-zombie as well?
The kid was not a protomolecule zombie either. That is the wrong way to look at it. His blood was black, not blue.
His mind was uploaded to the protomolecule substrate and his biology was changed to be compatible with the protomolecule.
He was in control, not the protomolecule. Unlike with the kids we have seen, who were transformed into monsters.
The gate builders were all seemed to have been uploaded too (and wiped out by the unknown entity, somehow?)
The dogs' purpose was to repair things as best they could, not infect life forms to create Ring gates like protomolecule in Sol.
Hello! Didn’t Duarte disappear - die - at the end of Season 5 when the ring entities erased him and his ship?! Geez, we need to get Ryan from Screen Rant on this case.
no it was another Martian Sauveterre
@@wnose ah, thanks for clearing that up
SO sad last episode. Small chance showrunner will be able to find another network which will take show further.
I hope this show comes back
No mention of Bobbie and Amos's possible baby? You know she must have gone "with" him to the brothel! There's something there, I'm sure
So this too are evolving to become a zombie movie huh? 😁
Xan still has memories of his life and his will is his own, he's just in tune with the protomolecule now. Actual zombies should have appeared in first season the purpose of which was to spread the protomolecule infection through Eros, but I guess they did not have the budget for that.
the show is the closest thing to science facts we ever got (baring the alien stuff)
The one thing that's off about this great written show...actual cats and dogs 😄...I mean, c'mon...they'd be there😄
Dammit, I thought you had read the books.
A 6 episode final season felt like a "F YOU" to the fans.
i guess 3 movies and a spin off are coming.
The Expanse spoilers: "Aliens" 🤣
Create Hype!! show bullsh*t!! create hype!! show bulls*it. & so on.
Why does the narrator keep calling it the Raci instead of Roci?!
The finally was disappointing. Six episodes wasn't enough. Laconia plays a big role but just like some other series the expanse ended to soon. Two or three more seasons and it would be top 3 syfy series of all time. Hopefully someone will see the potential and pick it up. At least it lasted longer than Firefly.
Well that was the book ending, and Laconia did not play much of role in book 6 anyway. Duarte was shown at least.
Sad only 6 eps., Amazon has no original series that can even touch the popularity now. I may hang on another 2 months for the Wilds, then time to cancel.
Shame on Amazon for canceling this great series, they left way to much meat on the bone
th ebiggest uunanswered question is why it took 3 seasons to deal with a so so bad guy that was in wat? 1 book maybe 2?
Don't you love it when you're told what your questions are?
"The books are waiting in the shelves of the stores..." In my country, they aren't...
Well read the books to find out
Knowing this was the last season they should've skipped all the liconia stuff.
I guess they needed an explanation why Laconia no longer cares to assist Inaros and a setup for a potential movie.
We could always get a spinoff show.. with a whole new cast... And therefore a whole new set of issues from the other books..
@@TazCStorm The characters are 30 years older but they're also taking anti-aging meds. They look like they're in their 50s. The actors will be late 30s/40s by the time a season 7 is filmed. Just put some grey in their hair and use less make-up and they'll look the part.
Filip is wanted. He cannot reunite with his mother. It's possible he is arrested and and put in a prison like Claire was.
No he has left the violence erroneous ways of thinking behind.
What the hell is a Raci?
Where does the fkin prothomolecule come from? Who invented it. Thats the biggest question
The Builders created it so that it could construct Ring gates using carbon based life forms - but the one sent to Sol was stuck in Saturn's gravity well an became the moon Phoebe.
@@MrIrocknusuck ok who are the builders, what planet are they from, why are they not around anymore.
@@dopeniggac the builders are a race of Aliens who lived long before the human race in another galaxy and system. They created the Portomolecule to use it as a way to go through other galaxy systems to either explore or colonize systems. However before they could finish their work another alien race wiped them from existence. They fought hard enough but not to save themselves from extinction.
@@dopeniggac didn't you watch the whole show? As Holden witnessed when he interacted with the Ring Station, they got eradicated by the Entities. The reason all of them were eventually killed off at once was because they were a hive mind so they were quite vulnerable to a sort of a "mental nuke".
@@dopeniggac Im half-way into the last book and thats where we get to explore more what the ring builders acctualy are.
They where a empire or a hive intelligence, think small dumb individuals with a large intelligence in numbers. The Gate enteties (who live in the space between gates and our universe) got mad of the use of the gates and whiped out the builders. The builders was simple, sensitive, and was easy to distrupt. Humans on the other hand is simple by comparison and they have harder time killing us off. It goes deepeter then that, and the entire last book is about it and there duarte and the childs (xan and her sister are both proto-kids by then) is a key part.
Or you can just read the last three books and all your questions are answered.
exactly that. Philip's story is touched on in the last book (where he also meets Anna Volovodov's daughter).
Zombies are coming.
Please say spoiler alert! I have not read books 7-8 and now know main premise and villains etc from your beginning of this clip.
To be fair it's fairly obvious given the set up of Duarte and Laconia for the past 3 seasons. Like the Laconia plotline is kinda useless otherwise. But I see your point.
You’re not alone. I’m still recovering from some of the spoilers I encountered. If you haven't read the last three books of The Expanse (like me), I recommend avoiding online articles dealing with a potential Expanse Season 7 or Expanse spinoff ideas, since they, unfortunately, tend to contain several spoilers for the last three books, often without warning.

Hands down trash they not finishing it up with a seventh season. If I were a billionaire I’d pay 50 mil just to make the season to finish it up.
First
they way they just ended it like what seemed like halfway through an actual season was complete Bull shit.
Not like GoT where it sucked. This season was awesome, But they left us hanging real badly and that is some bull shit.
They included everything they could before the time skip, except Jim doing interviews with belters on Ceres instead of Monica which would have killed the pace.
@@MrIrocknusuck They could have fit in way more if the season was longer. last season was 10 episodes.
Unpopular opinion here, but after watching all 6 seasons I think the show was good but highly overrated, and I'm personally okay with not seeing more.
Would be interesting to see the remainder of the story play out over the course of some big-production movies but only if it doesn't involve massive jumps time and removal of key characters, which doesn't seem to be the case in the books from what I've heard (I could be wrong; haven't read the books).
Either way, I think where it left off was a very natural and satisfying ending.
Laconia should never been in the last season. Too bad they killed off Alex because he was critical to the stories in books 7 & 8.
Probably why the last couple seasons were canceled for now. They need to figure out how to continue.
Alex can be easily replaced. He wasn't "critical" the way, say, Holden was critical. And yeah, Laconia should have been in the last season. The show creators obviously think there'll be a season 7 someday. Showing this stuff is critical to what Laconia gets up to during the 30-year span between book/season 6 and book/hypothetical season 7.
" they killed off Alex because he was critical to the stories in books 7 & 8"
He was killed off because of 40 counts of sexually inappropriate behaviour towards the crew and fans.
@@robertvermaat8949 Just replace him.
No actor is that valuable.
@@davidrediger6407 only cheap shows replace actors with totally new faces. Unfortunately the chracter was well-loved.
If anyone interested in this video hasn't read the books.. please go read the books you won't be disappointed
it was ok show till it became woke nonsense in second season and made annoying owerpowered woman the gunny hahaha
Yup every show/movie like that now
The fact that every important character lives is kind of dissapointing, mostly because makes all the conflicts worthless. Also the whole thing started with a lot of suspense and intrigue, a protomolecule, than the blue aliens, politics. All that was thrown away for a fight against 1 evil man. idk this last season kind of sucked.
it is a bit weird to speculate here on some of these things, while the books already provide most of the answers. just read the f*ing books!
They do it because its addressing the questions show only watchers have. They even reference the books.
what a waste of a show, the last three seasons could have been summed up in a movie... Bad guy dies, trouble on the frontier, belter reconciliation... they could have given each of those 30 minutes and it would have been done... The first three seasons were pure gold, this is pointless...
Ppl still watch the expanse?
