Im a Rougarou fan. I did it like 4 times in a row in the back left seat. The turnaround into the drop is one of my favorite airtime moments ever, you get lifted up before being yanked down. Those s curves are great too.
I was able to avoid most all headbanging in the back row. I rode once in the front and that was a bit worse, especially entering the midcourse. But overall good ride, and waiting for the back isnt bad since it usually has a low wait.
I rode Mantis once in 2008 and remember having a good time on it as well.

I was there this past Monday for the first time in my life. Once I got up to ride Rougarou and get strapped in and everything, they have mechanical issues that delayed the ride for 15 minutes. I was originally in the row behind the front. The people in the front row decided heck with this and I was able to move up to the front. Once I got to ride it for the first time in the front row, I really liked it and really enjoyed it!

rougarou is a one and done for me. personally my least favorite coaster i've been on, i had a migrane and had to sit for 15 minutes after due to the headbanging.

Why are you brazenly breaking park rules? Had I been working at that ride I'd call security and have you kicked out of the park. 😠

I didn't break their rules.......this was filmed with safety in mind. No one was put in danger while filming this pov. If the ride op felt uncomfortable with my way of mounting, then that would be a different story. Also.......if you were working chances are you would even notice because I don't make a big deal about what I do.......also I got me and my family into the park for free so no hate on there end!
I will say thanks for your concern as unsafe pov filming is very much an issue and something I don't encourage!
