I really like this torch set up...after this video I soldered bezel wire then soldered the bezel wire to a 20ga sheet...it handled it perfectly...to solder you need to learn heat control.!!
@@silversmithclasses Thank you for answering. I guess I will need to shell out the cash and get a acetelyene air torch. so this torch is only good for light soldering.
Yes for light soldering..I use Mapp gas with a torch handle ( you can get this at any hardware store) to do all my melting. These are what plumbers us...but an acetylene torch is a great investment! Hope this helps.
