Yes, D-Day. We also need to remember December 7th - Pearl Harbor Day. Glad you're making enough power to run your A/C, G-Bear. Even though last year you were up about a volt, at least you have the capacity and ability to run it now, regardless of the volt less compared to last year. Keep the faith!
Speaking of heat, have you used/tried those swamp coolers, G Bear? I never had, but understand those are very good for dry desert-like environments, like yours. I know they do not work well in humid areas, no doubt you're pretty dry. What has your experience been with swamp coolers out in the cabin? Seems like a win-win as they use little power (compared to a traditional A/C unit) and water... wait a minute, I just looked up that they use around 145-150 gallons A DAY of water. Guess I answer my own question, right? Uses too much precious water. Too bad that stream that appears when it floods doesn't run all the time... then you'd have PLENTY of water.
Yes, water usage is the big downside, but so is filling your cabin with moist air. It produces mold, and an attraction to pests like ants, spiders, etc. They are attracted to any water source. Lastly, they are high maintenance. Pads need to be changed regularly, belts wear and Crack, and the non use months fill them with dust, bugs, rodents, and other things. As you can see, I gave it consideration, but the cons outweighed the pros 2 to 1. The most efficient is a good mini split AC/heater, run on an efficient 48v system. They come in 120v/240v with the 240v being more efficient, and some are designed for solar powered off gris systems.
Thank you for your service.
You are very welcome.
Dang hot here too! Thanks for the shout out brother!
You betcha! I hope it sends some YT stats your way.

Yep. When I upgrade to 48v LiFePO4 and the new SunPowerGold all in one, I will be able to run AC all night if needed.
It was 104 in Las Cruces NM today. Wish we would get some rain.
Wish harder! I want rain too! 109° here too
Solemn day to remember forever
