I could watch Sea Lions and Seals swim all day. They're so graceful , it's therapeutic.

Since I saw you diving with Bruce I love Sharks even more, especially great whites, they are majestic, smart, much smarter then we thought, curious, beautiful, and my favorite dream I ever had was that I had a friend that was a great white!!! I am a HUGE fan of you for so many reasons Andy! You & your wife have such an AMAZING outlook on the world we live in & the sea we need to protect in many different ways! I literally have Shark Dive (Documentary you & your lovely wife did) of course ive watched EVERY EPISODE of Shark Week since 2004, I am such a Shark Nerd & my family thinks I’ve lost my mind but they deserve so much respect & I’m just in LOVE with them! I buy every documentary & book that I can, my ONE thing on my bucket list is to dive with Tiger Sharks, would LOVE to also see the great whites thru the cage, but I was paralyzed in a car wreck when I was 21 yrs old so I do use a wheelchair every day Bc from the knee down I don’t plan on that stopping me tho Bc I am quite the swimmer & recently got my diving certification, of course I’m gonna need to go with a few safety divers, but you guys make me dream so much more of still diving even tho I’ve had a little bit of a “obstacle” than could make my dive a little more challenging but not enough to detour me in way! Pls continue the work you guys do Bc I want to begin my conservation work to do my part so in helping these incredible creatures by being a voice from the & also having a physical disability so encouraging the rest of the physically challenged community to not detouring them from doing anything they want set their minds to! I’m NOT Handicapped I am handi- capable! I will keep my passion Bc my passion has now grown into a complete obsession for the sharks and the conservation of them so please you and your beautiful wife Emma keep doing the great job that you’re doing and making the videos because I literally have all of your videos saved so I can watch them and I have probably watched most of them 100 times! #BiggestFan!

Andy’s excellence excels other films that I have seen. In my opinion, Andy Casagrande expertise and knowledge on sharks are unique. I have seen other documentaries about sharks and other creatures, but never like Andy’s ……he is the epitome of excellence. Thank you Andy for sharing this magnificent and gorgeous film with us. THIS was one of the absolute BEST shark documentaries I have ever watched and I have watched almost all of them! WOW! The cinematography, the story, the realism, the interactions, the reality, the vulnerability of the guy diving - it all adds up to a fantastic documentary! I typically love to hear some British voice talk to me about sharks, (LOL - everything sounds better when you hear it with an accent), but this was just fantastic! The music was just right and not overpowering. The fear you expressed and care you showed while connecting with the sharks showed the respect you have for them, but also the love you have for them. I wish there was some award I could give this documentary right now for having given my eyes the visual pleasure they just received! GREAT, GREAT WORK! LOVE THIS! Pat yourself on the back for this because it really was a good documentary!

Somehow it doesn't seem fair that we can't breathe underwater. I want to be Aquaman. Well, Aquawoman. And let me just say that your underwater footage is the most excellent I have seen. It is absolutely stunning and literally takes me there.
I followed a 10 foot tiger shark around a Cooktown reef quite some years ago and this is the first video I have watched that has explained why I felt safe doing that. Thank you. Great vid.

Beautifully narrated, exquisitely & very BRAVELY filmed. These are some of the most wonderful & crystal clear images ever captured of each of these species. I was amazed at the elephant seals almost tender curiosity as it looked at the camera, maybe seeing parts of its own face for the first time ever. I can't imagine all the time, the days on end, the years of diving & filming underwater that he put into learning every trick he could about underwater photography. I think of the determination it takes to learn intricate things like this ON LAND, then realize that there had to be hundreds of tines images did not come out looking the way he wanted them to, then continuing on the next time, for him to reach this level of skill, presence of mind, ability to calmly surrender to risk & let go of the natural fear 99.9% of us would have if we were surrounded by sharks, so that he can intensely focus on filming in whatever circumstance presents itself. Not many humans would have the determination to keep following through, year after year, to get this good at what he does. Amazing !!

this is easily one of the best filmed documentaries about sealife, especially sharks i´ver ever seen so far. extraordinary footage beautifully cut with logical explanations. Amazing job. The beauty of the oceans brought to the people. I grew up watching Jaques Cousteau´s Adventures and documentaries on Calypso regularly on tv. I simply loved it and it is sad to see that the oceans get destroyed more and more. In my opinion kids all over the world should grow up educated in school with documentaries like this, so that the future generations would be better suited to take care of our planet and to fall in love with nature, with the beauty and the danger. thx for this. :) It is really long overdue to regulate the world wide industrial fishing industry which is the biggest Problem for the oceans.

As a child the films of Jacques Cousteau and the Taylor's ignited in me a curiosity of the oceans and it's creatures, 7 years in the mediterranean gave me the opportunity to explore and learn first hand. WOW, Andy that was so surreal. It took me back to when I was a teenager in Indonesia. I did a lot of scuba diving when I lived there & the close encounters I had with sharks. They're not the bad boys everybody thinks they are. The couple of times that I found myself in any real danger was when I dived by myself! So anybody who is just starting to learn the undersea world, please go with a buddy or two!

I loved the accomplishment of your narration too. Your description of the watery world of the ocean and ocean floor was quite moving; nothing like I've ever heard spoken about sharks and the other creatures in the sea before. WOW! I'm a city mouse from NYC. I scuba dived once in 50 feet of water off coast of Maui. I want to do it again!
I went snorkeling in crystal river and it was probably the most free I've ever felt. I went in 2001 and again in 2002. The first time I came close to a manatee I was terrified. They were massive. But after I realized how curious and gentle they were it was incredibly peaceful. The only part that got to me was seeing the scars from propeller blades on several of their backs. At that time they were endangered. I'm not sure about their numbers now but we all need to protect every life we can. Thank you for this documentary, beautiful visuals and very informative.
