Dustin Owen is a name we'll see in politics. You have my vote. We need actual knowledgeable industry leaders such as yourself in politics. I trust someone that's in the trenches 1000% more than someone who just paid to win with adspend.
Well put. Im an immigrant (overstayed my visa) pay thousands of dollars in taxes. Deporting all of us would hurt pockets deeply. Not to mention I own 2 homes.
Groceries are up on average 24% from 2020 to 2024. This is a HUGE jump. True. Average wages are up by 25% which means in the same time period as a percentage of income groceries are no more expensive than they were in 2020. Grocery store profits are at record highs. Is that inflation or gauging? The continual rise in grocery prices is back down to below 3% which means the bleeding has stopped. Ask Publix when they will move those prices back down. Maybe never as they have to pay for all those raises they had to give to keep / attract competent workers. Side note, I am not allowed to go grocery shopping. I am told I buy too much and don't stick to the list. It is worse if I am hungry.
JC was suspiciously on point lol. Well thought questions. Great episode
Great point and thoughts!

Valid point but keep in mind that adspend and being in the trenches are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Good luck brother
Justin do you think the Fed may start buying bonds again to trigger a lower rate?
No.
Inflation has come down? You do not do your own grocery shopping.... Everything has doubled if not more..
