Popeye is a hard game OG. Needs loads of practice. There are only 3 screens but they loop back to 1 but get harder. It never seems to play the same twice. Sea Hag throws the bottles, she’s one of Popeyes enemies in the cartoon. On level 2 she throws bouncing skulls. Try and trap Bluto in the cage when he’s right at the bottom for 4,000 points. Easy to get him after you have punched him. Run back up to the punchbag and wait for him to set off walking, soon as he moves hit the punchbag. The cage resets when you loose a life so it’s essential you use it on him at every life to rack up the points. If you hit 25,000 points or so you have done well. I’m one of those who suggested it 🤣
I've never played this before, I was a Master System and Mega Drive kid so i didnt play much Nintendo stuff growing up, I just gave it a try and jeeesus this is hard as nails or im just terrible lol might make a discord account just to post a score so Duffy isn't last, cos i know I'll be at the bottom lol
Anyone who gets to the pirate boat scene will score well if they keep punching the birds across the sliding platform, a 1000 points per punch. A really good game I tinnkr

Remember playing Popeye on the c64. Difficult game as I remember.

I'm defo only getting 1 point this month aswel duffy buddy 😂 this is one of those games we should love as it's popeye.... but it's so frustrating 😂
