Funny story: I have a devotion to my guardian angel, and one time I was sort of complaining to him, asking why I was suffering so many things. Then my angel expressed something like "Uh oh!" and a second later God gave me a "Book of Job" type of reply, if you know what I mean. 😅
My Guardian angel is my dearest friend who has been in my corner for my whole life. Countless times in my life I have asked for even trivial help, he has never let me down. This sounds way too simplistic. What about all the children who are raped and murdered? Perhaps angels mainly have the power to protect us from evils within the spirit world, but not from our own kind. Perhaps they join us at death to guide us to heaven.
God has given free will to humans, and humans sadly, as we know, often abuse that free will to commit evil. Acknowledging the ability of humans to commit evil does not deny the power of the spiritual world.
