You did NOT ramble at all! This was such an informative video and I loved every second of it! We just booked our first cruise and it’s over a year away but so excited. Thank you so much! You guys are the best!
This is amazing! We’re booked for January, and we’ve already been eyeing the menus. This is first video I’ve seen really covering all of the alternative options like the smaller lounges and such. Thanks so much!
I LOVE the ice cream not being self serve. When we went on our honeymoon in March on the Carnival Mardi Gras, all three ice cream machines were constantly broken or had the trays stacked high with ice cream from kids holding down the lever so the machines ran out. Super disappointing. Hopefully it helps resolve that issue!
I watched the entire video and even paused it when I got up to do something in real life time. Sat down, got back to the cruise and dreamed of that amazingly dreamlike ship! Thank you AJ and all your fellow workers who bring these magic videos to our lives. I always find myself smiling and find these videos a great escape💖I really look forward to the next.... Thanks!💫
HA HA HA! Meghan doesn't have to actually create the video, though, so she continues to be happy about the b-roll. She made us solemnly swear that we would get enough B-roll on the ship because we don't go on lots of cruises -- so whatever b-roll we get is very precious! Poor Carla was the one who had to actually create this behemoth -- and she's a rockstar!!!
So amazing!!! Maybe we'll cancel our disney trip and just do this instead! As 2 lovebird adults, this may be a better trip for a week than battling at the parks.
I’m a big sauce person too! I guess that’s why I loved Remy cause if the sauces, can’t wait to try Enchanté. I’m a big culinary foodie I buy chefs books, and love watching them on UA-cam, but my best friend loves food but is more picky than me so when we dined at Remy she told them what she liked and didn’t like, and she loved it!
Loved your commentary! Thanks for all the helpful info and tips. This will be my second time on the Disney Wish and I am feeling like I know this time what to eat and what to pass on as far as calories. I felt similarly with desserts. This trip we have reservations at both Echante and Palo. Super excited for those, especially after watching this video.
The BBQ on the Disney Wish comes from a local Orlando smokehouse called 4 Rivers. The closest location to WDW is in Winder Garden, Fl. Just know that it's closed on Sundays.
I've watched this video several times for multiple reasons. One, I miss the Wish and can't wait for our October cruise. Two, to daydream about the food. And Three, AJ's love for Mickey's Smokehouse BBQ
18:58 For clarification, you said "On the Island, BBQ and Ice Cream are free; the rest is an extra cost." At the BBQ food stations, unlimited soft drinks are included at no extra charge, as they are on the ship.
I’ve recently discovered your videos and I’m loving them, this one is no exception! Quick question, you mention POG juice in your Disney World videos, is POG juice available on The Wish?
Love this!!! I noticed on the menus the rotational restaurants all have no sugar added desserts. Do the other restaurants also have these options? (Adult dining, cookies, joyful sweets, Minnie’s ice cream etc) did you get a chance to try any of these? Husband is diabetic so I was excited to see this!!
The question that I always have after watching these videos is do you all get your nails done before the parks/cruises because your manicures are always on point lol.
"But I can reccomnd the hurricane if you're looking for something that suits the theme"- was not a joke I was expecting out of Disney Freaking Food Vlog and may be my new favorite clip. Oh my gosh I just choked on my drink. 10/10 this is why you're my favorite.
Is hot chocolate available/free on the ships? I don't drink coffee and my go to hot drink in the mornings is hot chocolate. seeing all these videos about the wish makes me so jealous. Really hoping to take a Disney cruise soon, it's above going back to Disney World on my list of dream vacations.
Oh yes, I watched that "Frozen" performance on the new Disney cruise ship on a WDW UA-cam video and, yes, I couldn't believe that Kristoff and Wandering Oaken sang the song "Let It Go", but it was still enjoyable and it was nothing compared to the videos by Come Play With Me, which star little girl Anna and Elsa dolls with the dolls of adult Anna, Elsa and Kristoff as their parents, other little girl Disney princess dolls as their friends and Barbie dolls as other characters like the Dr. Barbie doll, who casted the little girl Anna doll's arm with play-doh, and the Miss Bailey doll, who sent the little girl Anna and Elsa dolls to detention, which was a shocker.
Thanks SO much! Your videos are the absolute best & always help me prepare for WDW / DCL trips! Wish embarkation day is Monday for us!! I expected Weezy’s Freezies to be an extra charge, so thx for that. Also I won’t bother w/the beignets after this video. Lots of ‘food for thought’ 😂 You rock & I love the collab w/All Ears. My 2 faves 😄
Just got off the Wish. Marceline Market is not open for dinner. We discovered this when we skipped our early seating at 1923 on Pirate Night in order to grab a quick bite at Marceline’s Market only to discover they don’t serve dinner on the Wish. Our group split up. My husband and I grabbed some food at the pub. The rest in our group ate chicken fingers by the pool. They called their experience “a mess.” The lines were filled with those turned away from Marceline Market. At no ooint in time did anyone inform guests the Wish had parted with tradition and closed the buffet for dinner.
As a 20 year craft cocktail bartender; i don't even wanna know how those bird glasses are cleaned, cuz i might get ticks, just hearing about the process! 😆 Also, random question; when you buy a cocktail in a desirable glass like this, are they keeping track of whether or not you "take it"? You mentioned they're not for sale, but what happens if they just "walk away?" (Some restaurants I've worked at take cc for reservations, and WILL charge you for the item taken home

I paused to look at the soda station. I myself am insulin dependent diabetic and look for sugar free options. When on the Dream they had Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Minute Maid Light Lemonade. I only saw Diet Coke in your video. Actually I would love if they started serving Sprite Zero, to not only avoid sugar, but caffeine as well.
I have such a bad habit of referring to cruise ships as boat because in french it's all a boat. I've never been on a disney cruise but this is making me want to splurge on one.
Awesome coverage! The ship is goregous! But I do have a question about Disney Cruising in general. It's no secret that many Disney Cruise Line guests fly in from other places to embark from the specific ports. How many days do you guys think is best prior to embarkation that travelers should arrive in the port city in order to get the most out of the cruise (beating the jet lag)?
Whenever I sail from Port Canaveral, I like to fly in 2 days prior to stay and relax at a resort so that I'm not trying to catch up on sleep during the cruise.
When dining do you have to sit beside people that you don't know? My husband and I are very shy and this is the thing that has kept us from going on a Disney cruise. Thank you.
Love that Harry Potter reference, but I don’t think you guys would have been able to save him. After all, he was executed around 9:00, judging by the context clues., And you guys would’ve been gearing up for that last reservation by then. lol.
I love you guys! Disney does NOT do enough for you all! You all have kept Disney travel in the zeitgeist.
