    As a Fatboy owner and fan of fatbikes in general, kudos for a great bit of marketing.

    The kids bike looks like a TRIALS frame, and I like the cut outs on the rims.

    Anyone know the approx. age range for these two bikes (20 & 24 inch)? Are these fatbikes comparable in size to a normal 20 & 24 inch kids MTB, or is it appropriate to add one inch for the approximate height comparison due to the fat tires?

    Hello Specialized
    I don't get it, how comes your kid fatbikes are so heavy? My sons 20" Fatboy is even heavier than a cheaper 26"-Calibre Dune!

    Why are those bikes better than normal bikes?

    • @five9652
      @five9652 10 років тому +2

      they are better on snow and sand. that's the whole purpose of these type of bikes.

    • @tntisfine
      @tntisfine 10 років тому

      five9652 Well.. if i had one of these bikes, i wouldnt go to the beach, for obvious reasons, and for the snow, my normal 26'' is the most funny thing that i could have.. so.. still dont know why are these bikes better :p

    • @robikk12
      @robikk12 10 років тому

      Dani Cirera It seems bicycle manufacturers can produce everything possible. This special bike helps you ride just in fresh snow during races like Iditarod. Now you can buy it Specialized for fun :) I will no wonder they start produce high wheel oldtimers next years :)

      @hambone950 10 років тому

      like they said you can plow over snow and sand, also they "float" over rocks and stuff kinda have to ride one to see

    • @flyingtigre1
      @flyingtigre1 10 років тому

      They are made by specialized and are for high floatation traction. lightweight 32 lbs and great for sand and snow..Not your everyday ride.

    no 29"er fatbikes? :(

    • @flyingtigre1
      @flyingtigre1 10 років тому

      ha ha funny….. They are a size of a 29'r (dah!)

    • @HannyDart
      @HannyDart 10 років тому

      rims=26"
      tires=29-30"

    • @flyingtigre1
      @flyingtigre1 10 років тому

      BAEMERZ yep yep rim size v.s. tyre size. Generally overall size does matter. 29'"r's. Are a much faster bike… because the tyres are narrower. The fat tyre bikes are slower but much funner in snow, sand or downhill. Places a 29'r cannot go. obviously.

    • @HannyDart
      @HannyDart 10 років тому

      flyingtigre1 snow and sand, yes.
      downhill? nah.

    • @flyingtigre1
      @flyingtigre1 10 років тому

      BAEMERZ ah? huh! yep yep "yeti"…. fatboys are not racers but going down hill off the beaten path is allot of fun. Instead of going straight down? You can cross of the path sideways down hill. more fun more challenge.and good breaking too. cheers

    It's all fun and games until you case a jump and have to shell out 100+ $ to get a new tire
