Thanks for the thorough video! One thing i noticed while doing this myself is that our trailer doesnt have a hot water bypass switch. In case anyone else runs into that hopefully this saves you some confusion! I was also able to make things easier for myself, since the area i was working in was so tight, by clipping the wires close to he pump instead of at the connection point. It gave me a good 6" more to work with. Maybe not ideal to have an extra connection point, but in my case worth it.
What is happening when city water is connected and water starts coming out of the fresh water connection? I turned on the water pump and got rid of the air in the lines. Its still doing it when i hook water back up. Tks
Good morning! This is an indication that the check valve could be bad and the water pump itself would need replaced in that instance. Any dealership can look into this further for you. Thank you!
My pump just won’t shut off but no leaks I was guessing pressure switch but is it best to just change out whole pump and is this also a common issue pump running non stop
Good afternoon! I have not heard of this specific issue. If switching out the pump itself does not resolve this we definitely recommend having a dealership look at this further for you. Thank you!
I can't find any leaks anywhere but my pump turns on every 45 minutes for a second. Could it be debris in the diaphragm? One more question will there be an instance where you would need to prime the new pump after installation?
Good Morning, Yes you should always prime your new pump after installing this. Also, it could be an issue with the pump itself. We would recommend that you inspect the pump further or have a local dealer assist to find the root cause of this turning on that often.
Good afternoon! It does appear to be the pump itself that would need replaced. Should you need further assistance on this please give us a call at 866-425-4369.
We've had the same issue since we purchased our camper in 2022. It's been to the service center 2x. Has a new pump and still won't work. The pump will run continuously but water won't come out
Used Keystone Challenger 2008 waterpump. Stationary with city water. Haven't used, noticed a leak think in front where wires are. Should i repair, what the issue could be. Or can I disconnect altogether or etc. Thanks female learning
Good Morning! We would recommend first trying to find the source of the leak. If it is coming from the roofing we would recommend checking all seals up there as they need to be maintained every 90 days. If it is not coming from the roofing then there could be something loose near the wiring allowing water to come through. If you cannot stop the leak on your own we could recommend having a local Keystone dealer or repair facility assist with this. Thank you!
Good Morning! You will want to make sure the switch to the pump is turned off so that no power is going to those wires. You also can turn off the power to the unit completly as well if you are still feeling unsure after turning off the switch. Thank you
A little more detail about cutting the wires would be appreciated. Some of us don't know the names of the parts and have to research what they are and the do's and don't for them
Do y’all have a video on how to replace atomic electric transfer switch mine has a built in generator from the factory it won’t switch from the generator back to the landline thanks
Good afternoon and thank you for your comment! We would recommend having a certified RV technician taking a look into this for you since it is electrical. To find an authorized Keystone dealership near you please visit www.keystonerv.com/find-a-dealer. Thank you!
Good afternoon! It appears your water pump is behind your wardrobe slide out in a compartment or closet along with the water heater. We hope this helps, thank you!

What did you wind up doing?
On the new pump you bought, it has an outlet and inlet that have blue clips on them. Are those clips made to release the inlet and outlet tubes?

Is there anything additional that needs to be done to make sure there is no power to the pump before you mess with the wires?

Excellent. Thank you
You are very welcome!
There is a positive and a negative red and black coming from the pump but coming from the RV it's too white does it matter which way I connect it
What about the upgrade you mentioned at the outset?
Good Morning, what is your inquiry on the upgrade? Please do feel free to call us at 866-425-4369 with any questions you may have.

Hey to the great Louis Weaver
How about the pump location on a 2021 Carbon 418? The pump is considerably noisy and I’d like to replace it with a quieter one.
Good afternoon! It appears your water pump is behind your wardrobe slide out in a compartment or closet along with the water heater. We hope this helps, thank you!
