I needed this today as Orion is slowly slipping out of the northern hemisphere for another year. It’s my favourite constellation and I’m always sad to see it go !
yes, I know exactly what you mean.
Yeah 😭😭
Yes, yesterday I was searching for it in the skies but forgot that it's time to say goodbye to my favourite constellation 😢
@@_vortech_ Scotland, and sadly we sit a lot farther north than people think. We only have a few hours of darkness during summer, so we really only get a chance to see Orion or a lot of constellations in the winter.
I feel you
Absolutely stunning! ❤
Masterpiece an absolute masterpiece .
I live in Phoenix Arizona and the sky in the city sucks but I have a little land up on the Mogollon Rim near the New Mexico border and I can't freaking wait to finish assembling my astrophotography rigs. My place is in the middle of a juniper forest so it's super mega dark and it's at 7000 ft, has bortle 2 skies and the sky is so full of stars and different colors that it's almost enough to make you weep. I can't wait to retire and build my observatory. I have 2 HEQ5 pros, and I'm going to park Bonnie and Clyde on to piers and go look for God.
It’s been a year, have you retired yet?
Some years ago I did a series of work in the New Mexico high desert east of your place on the rim. It was a very early start and winter. I stood out there, no light, nothing at all for miles and miles, dead silence, no birds, no insects, looking at a sky I’d never seen before and never will again. The Milky Way was a great smoky sweep of wonder, an orchestral fanfare of stars. Nowhere here back in Britain could I see such a sight, a mile up, with no lighting whatever in a heartbreakingly clear winter desert sky.
Suffolk UK in most rural part has gone exponentially from bottle 1 in 1980 to bottle 4 today. The milky way cast shadows when road signs had to be felt for names. Now both Ipswich and Norwich cast orange glow up into even the darkest sky. I once walked from Truro to Falmouth overnight and the trees cast shadows from the stars. The tint of the sky is going from orange to grey as led lighting takes over. Such a shame every barn conversion has dozens of hyper security lights to give rich city orphans peace of mind.
paranoia probably?
Love Those Wide Field Timelapses!!👏
I wish I had those beautiful nightskies here! sadly enough I live under bortle 8-9 skies in the western part of the Netherlands, so it's amazing that I can still see it through your video's. Thank you!
Travel a bit man, get under some truly dark skies. Life is too short.
I feel your pain Houston is bortle 9
pretty sure back in the 1600s or a little more, houston and christ even most US cities probably were close to bortle 4@@Ghostflyer63
Beautiful Time Lapse... 👀 🔭
No words for your hard work ❤
This is beautiful
Pretty amazing. I have been doing astronomy for nearly a year now, and only in Bortle 8. How I would love to see those Bortle 3 skies with my big reflecting telescope!
So beautiful!
After 2 months, finally
Amazing :)
This youtube channel very useful for students and others
Thank you very much!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Orion is pretty bright and awesome!, I love looking at Orion even from my Bortle 7 sky :)
I love looking at Orion with even my two eyes.
Again very very amazing, wish I have a telescope 🔭 cause I love space, keep it up 👍🏻🧡
i admire how pretty it is in the night sky, but now im just staring at a blank spacez
Orion is my favorite constellation! 🌃
Mine too,.& I just found out about two days ago that I've been admiring Orion & not even knowing its name.
Amen
I live under bortle 3 sky’s, I’m blessed.
Super smashing great 👍
Большое спасибо, очень красиво!
I just took my first trip to Bortle 3 last weekend and it was so awesome. I live in Bortle 8 and it's awful 🔭
Wow nice hope you enjoyed! Yeah I can imagine, Bortle 8 is too bright...
I enjoy my bortle scale 4 skies it’s really nice breath of fresh air compared to what I used to deal with
Bortle 8 sucks
Thank you♥️🙏
Love it!
Magnificent
Awesome!!!
The easiest star constallation! By the way, great job!
Breathtaking view...
oh c'mon. i live in a bortle 5 and the orion nebula looks like a hazy green fuzzball
Amazing...
Beautiful ❤❤
I love space and I love your videos ❤👌👍
Informative.
Amazing!
I live under Bortle 6 skies but can easily get to Bortle 4 and with a bit more difficulty 3 and 2 and the contrast between 6 and 2 is amazing but I don't think as much between 4 and 2.I don't normally get to 5 skies as there's not much point assuming if you go further you end up in 4.Don't think that I have any Bortle 9 skies but sadly 8 and 7 aren't too far away.
💓☀🌏thank you very much🙏🙏🙏
I'm amazed on how my little o camera on phone caught this image last night over Anderson Texas
This shit has to be a real ear ringer
สวยมากๆ
😮😅😅😮😅😅well information good show 😅😅
Super
I like it
I love making time-lapse videos with the data i collect as sub exposures.
CLEAR SKIES. TURN OUT AN UNNECESSARY LIGHTS. REEVALUATE YOUR LIGHTING PLANS FOR NIGHTTIME TO REMAIN NIGHTTIME 🌃
Hello there! Did you use a specialized fog filter to make the brighter stars pop more? And what's the name of the filter? Thank you very much!
I have a question, is this with iso or exposure because even in bortle 3, it doesn't even get close to looking like bortle 5, where I live
🥰 əhsən
Esos son los tres reyes magos!! 😃
👍👍👍
Oh my my
👍🔭
Can you get the images if you hook an eyepiece up to and iPhone? I’d really like to see this stuff
Orion reminds me of my “Di” (grandad). He got me into astronomy so everytime I look up he’s always there.
Just wish Betelguese would blow the hell up.
0:10 What are those 3 bright stars on a slant plane that appear equidistant from each other?
Did you remove the infrared filter from the camera?
Hey man why your star cluster video is unavailable
What happened???
*Let the Sunshine In...*
I know this sounds cringy but if im gonna die by old age, I want it to be under a dimly lit area at night. The stars are amazing and its hard to picture this in your head. A lot of people who see the night sky think that its just a black void with a bunch of tiny dots. But I know that the night sky is really a mess of stars and novas that happened millions of years ago and is just now reaching us. If you’re a computer person and you dont understand, space lagged. Its amazing to see all the stars and the milkyway and its sad to think that it will all disappear one day.
Do you mean making the most of your life? Well, yes I agree. But universe future timescale and emotional sadness are on such quantum leap scales. Theory could allow universe to last trillions of years. Its exciting and stimulating to contemplate now and the future?
is astrophotography the only way to see these stellar objects?
Can there be a confusion between Betelgeuse and Mars looking orange too ?
I thought I was looking at Mars !
Wow this video can make the best wallpapers! ❤️🤩👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Channel's videos*
It looks like it’s gone SuperNova already 💥
Bro this is what I see in iraq sky in the night 🌚👍🏻
What? Can you provide timestamp from this video how iran sky looks?
I live in bortle 5 and its ok but i want to go somewhere less than bortle 3.
Left out Bellatrix and Saiph...😅
Which place and country is this?
I think I could see this from France yesterday night. I thought it was Mars but not Betelgeuse !!!
Pretty high in the sky by 8.00pm.
I'll check again tonite if the sky is clear but I doubt 😁
His channel location shows Germany
So i think this place is in Germany
You are needed.... Vere i know that superstar?
He created the heavens without pillars that you see, and He placed stabilizers on earth lest it shakes with you, and He scattered throughout it every kind of creature. And We sent down water from the sky, and We caused every noble pair to grow therein.
This is Allah’s creation. Now show me what those besides Him created. In fact, the unjust are clearly lost.
