Hero mastery turning into more of a pve than we ever got
Im having more fun in this than pve so yeah, just imagine if they replaced training bots with omnic enemies and use actual map, could be dope gamemode

They buffed turrets and nerfed the dps passive is probably why
and somb got buffed and tanks received massive buffs. i thought supports might have seen some cooldown reductions though to make their abilities more impactful
@@kippbleu8289 They only buffed low or mid tier dps : tracer is still gonna be overwhelmingly played in top 500...
@@Bighoodiekid suzu being able to negate 1/3 of the rosters ults and abilities is still and issue along with bap 3 health bars.

It used to be like that pre-OW2. It got nerfed to make it easier to focus her (less self heal). Now that she's getting focused too hard in the meta rn, they reverted it. Good change imo
@nicholasgilbert9844 imo there are certain heros that just shouldn't be touched at all. And they signify how well the game is doing in some aspect. Ana, rein, Winston, tracer, etc. They were all well balanced for the job they did and when one wasn't doing to well it was because the meta didn't favor them. They didn't need major buffs either to get back to good spots as it was usually other heros that were overbuffed or the map was better for them.
I'm pretty sure Winston went for the longest time without being changed out of all the heros on the cast. Having bedrock heros like that should help the devs from my understanding.
All it does is 30 more damage/healing on initial toss
@@sergmcmuffin 30 is a lot, you now how many times zen would have died without his new 25 extra hp he's got since they gave it to him. It's basically just putting it in line with before season 9 but 30 heals/damage for one action is a lot.
@@metal100k this buff makes it so Ana can effectively 1-shot any 250hp hero. Which I think is only 3 ? Tracer, Genji, & Widow
Hopefully Reinhardt gets reworked instead of getting another buff in later updates lol.

I don't think rein needs a rework. Almost everyone agrees that when rein is viable, the game is fun. The game is making fundamental errors in my opinion that are pushing rein away. The only way I see rein played anymore is the charge until you die playstyle. There is no point in using the shield to protect anything.
Notice how they buffed firestrike to not be able to one shot through window again. It would only do 240. They massacred my boy
legit just keep him as-is and add the arrow bouncing effect from the last april fools patch where his storm arrows (I think it's called?) bounced at his sonic arrow

I mean that’s the general consensus that he’s viable in some ranks with his buffs; however, in my opinion I think he’s boring to play and his play style seems outdated.
Some may argue that changing him will disrupt his “hero fantasy”.
@@kippbleu8289the actual tanking playstyle is the thing that's not viable anymore. That's why reins are charging and swinging everywhere. I hate that everything is a dps now, because it has to be. When you have a hero designed as a true tank that eats bullets until he gets close enough to swing, in this format and Mets he can't afford to use his shield. This is especially true since they reduced the shielding from ow1 to ow2 even though you can't have double shield with only one tank.
They left Hanzo's damage, Genji and Junkrat untouched, but buffed Sombra and Orisa? I'll never understand this company.
The people in charge of these balancing actually need to be replaced for fuc* sakes they ruin overwatch
Life weaver buff is a complete joke. You can charge up 10 more heal but your heal charges up by a microscopically slower amount (Previously it took 1 second to reach 70 charge, Now 1 second will bring you to 69.5 charge). Way to give the smallest tiddly wink of a buff to one of, if not the worst support.
That was on purpose to make pansexual man heal 69 per second 😂

just got stomped by a orisa in comp playing as zar and had to see what happen turns out pumping healing piss non stop into a horse does wonders for building ult i tried it after this video and ye horse doing alot rn in low elo comp almost imposable to stop em

@@yvezzaint yet here you see a top 500 dps wanting the opposite. Imagine enabling a dps at that level, imagine what they can accomplish if they get healed instead. You’re obviously a top 500 meta slave even though you’re not top 500. Imo they should nerf the fuck out of supports damage and force them to heal, stay alive and use cds wiser instead of aggressively. I’m of the opinion that supports dps where it is has caused a lot of the problems that this game has been having. And it’s okay to me if you have a different opinion.

this is why every character got a health buff and passive healing, they buff weak characters instead of nerfing the strong ones, they even buffed the already strongs ones! the power scaling of overwatch is just going up and up.

4:12 We Supports require at least *_SOME MEANS_* of defending ourselves in 1v1 situations.
Kiri(suzu, kunai), bap(imort and burst), moira(orbs fade), brig, zen with orb and kick, if possible weaver can just yoink a teammate or just petal and jump away,lucio has a boop and speed to escape or duel, ana can sleep em, illari is illari. The only support without a mean to defend themselves is mercy and even then mercy shouldnt be in that situation.

So what I'm seeing from this patch is that we're going back to Overwatch preseason 9 so all these health increases mean nothing and we're just large numbers to have large numbers.
How they didn’t do anything to help Junkrat be even viable as a hero to play is wild to me. He’s SO weak. Help the rat out.
Nah tbh let him die alongside sym and Sombra. Rat is such an annoying character to face off against for countless reasons, just like the other 2 named

Saying Rat has been overpowered at all in the past like 3 years is really just saying “I’m in gold and below and can’t figure out how to play this game”
@@mitchellmccroskey4568 Junk rat is a really poorly designed hero because he is way too inconsistent to be viable at a high rank, and gets way too much value for spamming left click at low ranks. Buffing him enough to make him viable in high rank games would make the game miserable for low rank players (especially console). He is like roadhog in that the game is simply better when they aren't picked a significant amount.
@@FennecUser-ky9vr I get what you’re saying. But what I’m saying is he’s not even viable in low ranks because of this health pool buff. All I’m saying is bring back his 2 hit combo. He wasn’t viable in high ranks like that and was average in low ranks at best. He exploits bad positioning which is a low rank problem. His skill ceiling is freakishly high though. I’m literally asking for 10 more damage either on his shots or his mine. Or 5 to each! It’s not gonna break the game for him to be the exact same as he was last season….

Orisa buff = I mean, it's for her ult, but still screw Orisa. LIKE WHY!?!?!?!

Reinhardt buff = FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! (don't get high hopes though) (make its 125 cowards!)
Roadhog buff = Spooky, but I'm fine with tbh
Hanzo buff = N/A
Mei/Sym = Hate them. Screw them. That's it.
Torb buff = I don't like, but with the more health, I can accept (also, screw Tracer, so I'm fine with this)
Reaper buff = ultimate buff, so just fine (but why the decrease?)
Sombra buff = I like, but I'm scared also
Ana buff = I'm fine with; she kinda needed it
Brigitte buff = I like, but I'm scared also (also, RIP dive heroes)
Illari buff = Needed
Lifeweaver = Honestly, don't mind it
hate to be the bearer of bad news but the meh doomfist ult may make him meta, I mean he is already 3rd most played and 2nd top win percentage and he's getting buffed agin..... I'm excited cause he is my favorite hero.

The season 9 patch gave everyone ~50 HP which is a 25% health boost. Terra Surge wasn't buffed at the beginning of the season so it's likely the ult buff is just to bring her breakpoints back in line with her pre season 9 self. Y'all overreacting.
@@workingclassreptiles It's not the ult that's the issue; I mostly use it as a second fortify if anything. It's Orisa in general.
And the stronger she gets with those microbuffs, we may see OW1 Orisa again, and we all know how bad she was by the end of OW1's life cycle.
@@MutatedAmerican Sigma and Junkerqueen have been meta for the past 2-3 seasons. Don't worry, the Orisa buffs do nothing.
Blizzard's been smoking some weird things, 80% of these buffs were totally unnecessary.
Almost all of these changes are just putting the dps levels into similar areas before season 9. Most are pointless.
Lifeweaver meeds quality of life buffs like heal blossoms not dissappearing and losing ammo if the teammate walks around a corner right as you send it. Or a smoother swap between dps and heal so he can be active in the fight more instead of being a mercy clone and being forced to heal the entire time.
Sym should never be be meta and her turrets shouldnt take more than a melee. Wtf they thinking quit buffing the niche shit.
They are sitting here fine tuning things that are fucking crazy to be fine tuning in the 9th competitive season of the second release of the game. They out here tweaking fucking global hitboxes.

Why blizz dont buff Ashe and Mcree? They need a small buff, Mcree needs a longer range, becasue actual is sad joke.,in Ashe's case the primary fire should increase to 50 or minimum to 45 from 40 since its too low for dps now, she has little ammo, the couch weapon should have hadshoot unlocked, I don't see why it doesn't, BOB should give wallhack where he can see (it makes sense because Bob is kind of like a teammate, he can push loads etc and wallhack would be like his pinging).
