The motion is so smooth it looks like you're filming your model with one of those zip line things. Gimbals are getting so good but I think I would get a back ache holding it for a whole day
They are! Haha yes they're not great for long usage. My back was so achey!

Agree, that is one of our hate parts, setting it up to be balanced and right if takes time and if you change lenses then you have to work on that and if the process isn't smooth then we wouldn't use it.
Haha honestly we still shoot handheld 75% of the time!

Feiyutech seem to be getting better and better with their gimbals!
It's cool to see more companies come up with new products like this, it keeps the main guys like DJI and Zhiyun on their toes.

Thanks for watching! Tbf we've since upgraded to a DJI gimbal as I couldn't quite get comfortable with the shape of this one for long shoots.

ouf man! 600 for that gimbal! that's some pro stuff. plus it's bulky... obv not a good choice for traveling with 😅

Would love to try this gimbal out for myself, the extra payload would be nice to make up for my bad balancing. Does it get affected by any additional accessories on top on the camera like a mic? or is there some other way to amount them on the gimbal
You could get away with a smaller mic but anything bigger would probably mess up the balancing.
what smaller gimbals do you recommend for your a7 and zoom Lense you had on right here?
Right now the dji rs3 is my favourite gimbal. Would highly recommend!
i have this gimbal, unfortunately when I zoom in and out with my tamron lens the gimbal have storng vibration, how can I avoid this kind of problem
Try to balance it when it's in the middle of zoom range. Eg if you have a 24-70, I would balance it around 47mm. And also use the lens holder. Have you also tried auto tuning the motor power? If it's still vibrating, it means one of the axis may not be correctly balanced.

You should! Just recommend you get one that is suitable for your camera. Not everyone needs a big, heavy gimbal!

You're welcome! Still working well, I just find it's less comfortable for my posture. I use a DJI rs3 now for my daily use.
My one gripe with Feiyutech gimbals (I current use an AK4500) is that none of their wheel controls have any sort of sensitively control and they are really sensitive!
PS Don't worry, the hinges are stiff on all of them!

Another great review. I prefer not to use gimbals and just handhold these days but it looks like a super gimbal for pros!
We prefer handheld shooting too but there are definitely some shots that only a gimbal can provide!

I'm still skeptical about these kinds of lesser known brands. I don't doubt they would do a good job but I had a Moza gimbal break on me and trying to get a replacement with my guarantee was the worst customer experience. From that day I always stuck with bigger and more reputable brands like DJI.
Hmm good point, but I've heard similar stories of people struggling with guarantees and things like that even from the bigger and more established brands.

I bought the Feiyu SCORP Pro Ring, this is the worse design for a ring gimbal!! This thing has broken on me 3 times!! I am tired of having to buy it over and over!! Don't waste your money on this gimbal.
Also the customer service is horrible they are based out of China there is no phone number here in America that you can call.. One time I had to send my gimbal in to get fixed and it took months before they return it. Considering how popular they are here in America you would think they would have some offices here.. Bottom line the customer service is the worst ever!!! will never buy Feiyutech again! Feiyu SCORP is Trash!!
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. We sold this gimbal a few months after because it kept on getting micro jitters and was not very comfortable on long shoots. Now using a DJI RS3 and RS3 Pro, and they are much much better.
