Pls point of correction. There was no installation of a new king to replace Prempeh 1 until his return and death in 1931. Prempeh 11 succeeded him only after his death. NB: Asante still regarded him as their king even in exile or redesignation as Kumasi king by the imperial British. If not, the Manhyia Palace, now manhyia palace museum, wouldn't have been built in compensation for for him and Asante, though Asante never accepted that gesture and made full payment

That's is why he resumed his post when he was returned from Seychelles. I have listened to him a lot of times and i know he lies. And also know that, the position Asantehene was restored in 1935 when prempeh the second was enstooled . Asanteman te ase.
