- Malcolm Jarvis (Ammaco Mongoose) sent us some very early (maybe the first-ever footage of the BMX seen in the UK) including clips from his first trip to California in 1979.
Footage includes Scot Breithaupt, Bob Haro, Stu Thomsen and Corona, the building of the Chatham track, and the Jarvis family riding alongside the first Mobile Plywood Track that was used on a number of occasions and was a starting point for the first-ever documented racers/events in the UK.
Both Malcolm and Sue Jarvis have been inducted into the first, official British BMX Hall of Fame in the Pioneer Influencer category which took place in Birmingham in November 2022 and we thank them for their contributions to BMX in the UK. - Спорт

Is that Sam at the end? This is superb.
It's got to be.
Wonder if the Wooden Table Top Was the Same Ramp used on the 3rd Straight at Outwell indoor Track?
Good question & maybe the one they used on Blue Peter with the Mongoose Team.
@@britishbmxhalloffame Really Enjoyed Riding at Outwell indoor.. It was Where My parents Purchased My Hotshot Racing kit. The Windles had a trailer inside the venue. It was At Outwell I first see Dx pedals I couldn't believe how massive they looked at the time. The outdoor track was fun Think it was ukbmx sanctioned at the time? Great memories ❤️
@@beebee3607 yes Outwell was UKBMX.
