- @YSLbeauty’s new Lip Oil Sticks look practically the same as Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick and their Volupté Shine. So here are a couple of reasons why this happens: A.) to maintain a sleek and sophisticated brand image (which helps customers quickly identify YSL products and reinforces the brand's luxury appeal) and B.) Having the same components with slight differences streamlines production processes and reduces costs. Remember, everything in the beauty world is intentional-especially when it comes to brand presentation and packaging! I love looking at these nuances and teaching you all why they’re there. Did you see that YSL posted a photo with the oil slick on Sephora that says
“SAME LIPSTICK, NEW LOOK & 24H HYDRATION
ROUGE VOLUPTE SHINE LIPSTICK BALM -> YSL LOVESHINE LIP OIL SLICK”
loved the signature gold packaging. i like the redesign when TF took over because the brown/bronze still matched the yellow gold. (Work for YSL beauté after TF left). Not a fan of the silver packaging, but understand if it's a cost savings thing.

The longer I consume products the more I do appreciate and realize how important the packaging is. It DOES determine if I will buy something over again and make it a permanent product I will use. Packaging determines how the product is dispensed, stored, and kept. It’s quite important. A winning formula needs durable packaging imo. 💕
Please figure out how to make your affiliate links cover your captions on the video. It makes the videos challenging to enjoy by people with disabilities. This matters because when we turn on the CC on the video, they tend to show on the top, taking our attention away from the content, which typically is centered or, in the case of this video and many of yours like it, on the bottom. It then becomes whether to enjoy the content or read about it. It is a poor experience for folks with disabilities who otherwise really would enjoy your beautiful videos. These look nice. Is the product itself worth of the price? I just added a couple to my cart $61 CAD for a lip oil stick is pricy so I may only get one shade once I swatch the colours in store.
Is there any kind of product you can think of that could be put on before makeup to act as a protective layer for the skin? Like a primer that keeps makeup from getting into pores and causing acne/irritating skin?

Are YSL lip products fragranced and/or flavored, please.
In my opinion they have kind of a classic like designer floral smell to them but I didn’t notice any flavor at all. I’ve noticed almost all designer lip products and some complexion products have a floral hint to them
The candy glaze does have it, to me it smells like a very tart watermelon. It's not super strong, but it is added
