This is awesome - dumb newbie question: my ski instructor used to get on my case for not being parallel enough, but in your transitions from side to side, I see your skis are not totally parallel, and you are obviously a great skiier. Was my instructor just pulling my leg? It led to a really nasty fall in the end and I quit skiing.
Your instructor wasn't wrong. On groomed resort runs, you need to be working toward your skis being parallel at all times. But this skiing is not groomed resort skiing. When skiing terrain like this, you need to have super solid resort skiing mastered, but once you get on this type of snow it is more an anything that gets you down safely goes type of thing.
