I read in book 13 that Mello and Near's characters were originally meant to be the other way round: i.e Near's image, i.e the quiet one was meant to be that of the character 'Mello' and Mello's image was meant to be Near's, but they got swapped due to a communication error. However the author and artist decided they liked it and left it that way. Hadn't heard about the River thing though, thanks for sharing it! :)

Creepy somewhat :D Song is "Have you ever been Mello(w)" by Party Animals ;) Oh, and I love that line, "have you ever seen red when it should have been yellow" XD There seems to be headbanging virus going around... Anyways, nice vid, a little bit creepy, but still ^.^
Mello's eyes change shape so many times. He's probably the most "manga" styled character. Y'know, with all the different expressions and what not. ;3 0:29 , no ones eyes can bulge like that without them popping out. xD And the lip quiver! Mello pretty damn hot and all, but
That's O.K., I respect your opinion but for some reason I'm a sucker for an anime guy with a scar on his face. Like Zuko from Avatar, (I know that's not a real anime but the drawing style is anime-ish) I'm a total Zuko fangirl, and I'm a Mello fangirl too. :3
