I'd just like to give a big thanks to Leila McKinnon and the team at A Current Affair for bringing the world of gel blasters to my attention a couple of weeks ago (Tracey was likely on one of the 75 weeks of annual leave she gets per year). I now have an addiction to rival that of the combination of heroin and meth. Today I set up a direct debit payment straight to my local gel blaster shop (Command Elite Hobbies, Salisbury) for the sum of my entire paycheck each fortnight. Tomorrow I'll be setting up my divorce arrangements..
know the feeling mate, my wife says she stopped counting around 10 blasters, i stopped counting at 40, may have a slight problem :D

Nice to see that there is now a metal bolt sear. When are we going to see you break down a SSG? DAMN!!!! 500+ fps? That is insane. And it didn't seem like you were having much trouble cocking it.

for anyone who is a little strapped for cash (or just a little tight), 2$ shop nail polish is a great substitute for loctite, my dad has been using it for decades, swears by it. Or at least thats why he claims to have nail polish in his toolbox................

@@hoanpham296 yes, in my experience. i have never had the plastic and polish have adverse reactions. is a quick drying, reasonably strong bond. hope this helps :)

I can not find a spring to fit for the LiFE of me, can you please put a link to the spring or where you got it from please, have this same v3 kit im just gonna have to pay a metal worker to shave the guide exactly how you did when i find a spring that fits, love your work

Definetly different, I just took apart one of those new remington msr. They are a full nylon bolt and plunger, and a metal trigger box. Tempted to go to Bunnings and find a nice stiffer spring for it and leave the internals as is
Maybe a silly question, wouldn't the holes where you put the circlip pliers be responsible for a whole lot of air pressure loss? Or does it have something to do with the vacuuming effect?
The holes don't go all the way through the cylinder head. It goes like halfway through, just enough for the pliers to fit in.
Has this been tested with the new aka gels or the ausgels variant?

Thats actually pretty common. Just try and bend it back roughly and get in in the hole. Its not even a neccessary item so dont lose sleep.

I got the old version of this kit with no metal knobs for the little nozzle to hold onto, ergo: nozzle constantly coming off nomatter what glue i use. I need the nozzle to stay on sooooo....anyone out there go a pro tip for me?

Join bolt action elites on facebook, theres a guy on there that not only sells the springs, but will actually machine your spring retainer down to fit in properly! Good guy!

Nice video only problem with video you don't really show where 2x washers and 1x bearing goes. Its on back of the spring guide, the spring rests on it.

Its a sieg C3 just a little one. Handy for barrels, handguards, cylinder boring, reverse M14 threadding.. i have even cut buffer tube threads for custom buffer tubes.

Hi lachi, I went with the Steyr SG69 blaster. It has a better weight and body than the others and the bolt is of much better construction. It shoots 240-250fps out of the box for me on milkies. Haven't been able to find an upgraded spring for it yet as its a different diameter and length than the M24/AWM/K98 or so I'm told. In that respect those blasters are easier to upgrade, but I'm happy with the Steyr. Hope this helps!

the GJ ones are the same internally to this, and the M24. so this bolt will work if its a GJ.

@@cmaekkk Another great ideas for you is to start sharing knowledge to everyone about other kinds of blasters than M4 AR platforms with expensive bits and bobs, try suggesting to people about models like from ww2 or the vietnam war etc mg42, stg 44, m1 garand, m1 carbine, m3 grease gun, m14 , gewehr 43, there are alot more greater models for our gel blaster hobby that can use boarded gearboxes that can fire full auto or semi

☺😊😀😁😂5 Smile's And just like most upgrade to your gel blaster ever since I opened the nylon case nothing but issues or when I work the primer system out that's why no primer for the ACR J10, the wire comes loss that one my fault likely the computer primer line cable week china made likely we'll fix that😬and I had to super glue the back as the 1.3 spring break the case and the lock pin comes lose as the crews don't hold weak for nylon and strip out fail on went to open no grip since ????mother @#$#@@ not to mention the fire switch which the lock pins just fell out and had to use a 1.5mm drill bit and super glue all was in right??? still a bit Wonka like. $230 for a metal $1000 dollor gel blaster at 40m max ????????? Hell i could get a gun license and arm and year at a range??????? No instructions half the time and no orange parts but every one wants the cash??????????????? He'll I got a base 1200mah battery got ones that say 2400 and 6800mah and it's got less power hell on a 1.1 spring able to pull with 2. 6800mah to fire for a bit and that's 16v 4 3.7v????? But will last 5 clips or so with the original???? The world needs to get real the old days off snake oil are rampant!!!!!!!!!! 50$ basket this thing and such a waste could have a big thing😭got one other to add double!😑
