Great video- love the speed and quick cuts. And humor!
Just found this video of your conversion real awesome, I’m looking forward to following you both. I have a Toyota Hiace campervan long wheel base not a slwb, I live in it full time. Cheers

Sweet van! To more adventures!
❤love this
Thank you ☺️
Bloody great job guys
Awsome work guys
Great conversion, the wardrobe is my wish😜
Thank you! Sorry for the late reply… initially Matt thought an upright wardrobe was an unnecessary luxury however I convinced him and it become one of the best parts of our build. It meant we could hang some of our nicer clothes without them getting creased and there’s was bountiful storage underneath. Highly recommend ☺️
Hey there! I watched and subscribed.. I love Australia!
Thank you ☺️ we love Australia too! Such a beautiful country 🌟
Nice job looks great. I'm building up a Hiace 4wd, hope it turns out as nice as yours lol. Enjoy your journeys.

😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Quite nice work, well done! How did you get the eletrical work done? Did you registered the van from commercial to camper in the end? Cheers
would love to know how much you spent on the fitout
Great video, it didnt look like it was insulated, do you think you can get way with not doing that or is it agood idea.
What an amazing conversation, how did you get all your ideas ?
Do you have any links on the research you did. Well done !!
Thanks for your support on the video :) We got a lot of our ideas from various van life pages on facebook including 'Van Life Australia'. We watched some youtube videos too but mainly flicked through lots of interior photos of van builds to seek our inspiration and brainstormed ideas to create a van that suited our needs
Love your camper van very much, I also want to convert one myself, because I like to travel, but I don't have a production license, can I do it myself? Will the police or RTA trouble me? If you know, can you tell me? Thanks!
Thanks for your support on the video :) Totally can do it yourself just have to make sure you don't exceed your vehicle's gross weight limit and meet your registration guidelines. For example we brought our van as a 12 seat bus and converted into a 2 seat Campervan. This meant we had to get two modification plate checks along the way. The first one was when we removed all the rear seats, so we changed the registration from 12 seats to 2 seats. Then after we completed our build in order to enable the van to be insured at market value we changed the registration from a 2 seat bus to a 2 seat Campervan; this was our second modification plate which also required inspection by QLD transport. There are a few requirements that you have to meet to be registered as a Campervan including having a fire extinguisher, the amount of seats equals the amount of sleeping space, having a 'kitchen' and everything being safely secured. The rules might differ per state and I can't recall all the guidelines you have to meet but hopefully this will give you an idea of a place to start your research. All the best, it's such a great way to travel and a rewarding experience to build it yourself
Hello
How much you spend buying 2006 toyota hiace?
Thank you!
Hi i wonder if you comply with licenses or permit for the modification?
Hey !
I have the same van and I’m having problems with the roof legs, the height between the gutters and the roof is like 450mm
Where di you guy bought the roof racks legs ?
Thank’s
Hey sorry for the late reply, hopefully you’ve found a solution. For us we picked up second hand rhino racks from a salvage yard and they happened to fit, I’m not sure of the exact specifications of the rhino racks though sorry
Hey, we have the same van and are getting heaps of ideas from your video! Where did you get the heshen sack material you used to cover the gaps / weird areas?
So excited for your building you van. Sorry for the late reply. We got the hessian material from Bunnings in the rope aisle. It was great for covering the small gaps where different surfaces met and tied the van together. I’ll add a link so you can see the product, I believe this is the one we got: www.bunnings.com.au/grunt-50mm-x-25m-jute-webbing_p4310865
Man hopefully in likee 4 years there will be ppl making these and selling it mAybe like help ok
How tall is it inside?
Hey sorry for the late reply, the van was 165cm inside ☺️
We need more videos
Thank you, hopefully more to come… just need to get around to editing them all ☺️
