That was quite good. I am so used to seeing the SAME tired designs over and iver but there were some really different ones there. Like the one with the strange poptop style window for room for your feet to sleep left to right in the van. Never seen several of the things these vans had.
I vote for no18 very practical and toilet included.

thinking about not just travelling or holidays but also for any type of emergency or natural disaster, it would be invaluable to have a camper van to go to for some basic needs, and to escape an area.
True-thats why I am getting one after selling my Prado -no need for SUVs which are pretty useless

It's BACKPACKER not BOCHPOCKER. Trust me. It's just the font they use might not make sense to you.
Unlike VW's Vanagon or Eurovan, Hiace does not make a good camper platform due to very high floor resulting from front engine rear wheel drive configuration.
That Towa Zelta is $38k US and they want $150k in the US for a POS Mercedes? Please Toyota make these here

well i guess japan doesnt want to encourage people to actually LIVE in the vans. All camping sites/areas in japan have public toilets. But you could always add one of those small portable ones, and shower at gyms.
