6 years ago, this song made me cry my heart out. Precisely at 3:42. I was an atheist, and I don't know how I came across this video at the time, I didn't know the first thing about Christ or the Bible, but that moment at 3:42 made me suddenly understand what "He died for me" means, and I knew I wanted to give my heart to Him, get to know Him. A world where THIS God doesn't exist, is not a world worth living in.
Today I am a baptized, born-again christian, so are all in my house, and while the full glory goes to the Lamb, many people helped me through my conversion... and you are one of them, the first of them.
Thank you so much for what you do. May God bless you overwhelmingly, so that nothing is ever lacking.

Janviere, the reference to the "point of diamond" and "pen of iron" is from Jeremiah chapter 17. God is talking about how the sins of His people are deeply and irrevocably etched into the core of their being. He uses the terms pen of iron and point of diamond to show how deeply and permanently sin has been cut into their hearts. Though this was written to Israel, its true of all humans, that we are born with sin etched into our souls and apart from Christ taking it into Himself, we are hopeless.

Actually, I was trying to show how Jesus' death put an end to the need for more sacrifices since He fully purified His people through one sacrifice for sins (Heb 10:12-13)....But once I started drawing in, I realized it was a lot like Aslan at the Stone table...which is great.

i have to say i wasn't expecting that, that was powerful. A powerful demonstration of what Jesus did for us. He became sin and took on the wrath of God... for us, in our place because he loves us deeper than we can fathom. And he rose again and rules at the right hand of the father.
