In my opinion it is even better than sex... Sex is a biological need...Flying gliders is one of the few western leisure activities capable of fulfilling a psichological (kind of spiritual) need...no woman and no relationship can give you that in modern times(in the west)... It's a fact... They can almost certainly make you miserable instead in the vast majority of cases...
The greatest thing about New Zealand(like other similar countries with a low population density) is that it is almost entirely uninhabited so maybe you don't have the limitations that you could have in a more populated area where a bunch of frustrated assholes tend to throw a spanner in the work in ANY leisure flight activity...
