Awesome tow-motor skills too. I used to work in a large metal-fab shop and had to learn how to put a 40'-0" piece of wide-flange stock through a 20'-0" door. It took me a while before I was able to do that... :)

I like watching these woodcutting videos just to see what the wood looks like on the inside. Saw a video from Japan, just before this video, that had the prettiest wood. Saw one a couple days ago, too, that had this really nice golden colored wood. Wish I knew wood types. Would like to know what type they’re cutting.

Why does this feel like a saw mill from the 1970's?
It's unfathomable that such primitive facilities and working conditions still exist in the Western world (The Netherlands in this case).
The uneven floor with tripping hazards everywhere, machines with uncovered moving parts and pinch points, personnel working near or even between the moving parts an pinch points. The forklifts that should have been retired more than a decade ago. Not to mention the incredibly hazardous way the logs are moved around with equipment thats clearly not able to handle such extreme loads. Notice how the forklift lifts its rear wheels off the ground when lifting the log, losing all steering in the process and risking tipping forward, potentially dumping the 20 tonne log right in the path of the cameraperson.
Person operating the bandsaw doesn't seem to be wearing any hearing protection.
Looks like amateur hour over there.
