Excellent first video with perfect pace in under two minutes.. Did not stop it once to follow instructions. Perfect coordination of voice instruction speed with task at hand. Noticed name of open file is also on the tab of design page, learned the correct mouse placement to change orientation of hoop without going into preferences, noticed addition of inches for the hoops when in preferences. These are some of the tips I already learned. Can't wait to review the next two videos.
How do I know what format to select for my hoop ? Also, if my machine reads .dst format and I choose that hoop for the drop down bar, but it does show the 5x5 hoop what should I do ?
The format is set by your machine. Home machines have formats like PES or JEF. Commercial machines use DST. If you hoop is not shown in the DST format, click on the NEW button and add the measurements in metric - the measurements of the STITCHING AREA not the size of the frame opening - you need to have a margin for the embroidery foot.

What's wrong with my machine when my hoop selection never changes to my selected size? How do I see my square hoop 5.5 x 5.5 on screen, as an example?
The hoop in Embrilliance is just a guide. It is not saved in the stitch file. Choose the hoop you want at the machine.
