    That fixture to hold the core with the prop to weld was well thought out and pretty slick, very nice work

      Thanks, i find the more comfortable my welding position is the better i cant weld.

    That's awesome..
    I want to do this for my Saturn with an old core.
    Tired of new ones leaking after only several months and I think I missed the boat on getting a Chinese one on ebay..
    Are your end tanks 1/8"? 3mm? thinner?

      @@spettro9 Thankyou, yes so the tanks are thinner at 2mm, these are for racecars and its suprising how much more they weigh if you use 3mm, once folded, bead rolled and welded the 2mm is suprisingly strong!

    If any of the fittings you welded on the inside leak, do you scrap the whole thing?

      I havent come across that yet but if there was a leak then id simply weld around the outside. I just prefer the look of them welded inside👍🏼

    i love you hand slide bar and the adjustable height....if you could redesign it in any way would you ? like a swing out or cant option...

      Hi, i made this when i first started and it really helped alot but now i only use it for long runs or high up stuff. Wouldnt change it at all👍🏼

      Yes im in the UK. I used 4043 2.4mm filler and 1.6mm for tacks
