@@Gentryandsons The Show truck progress has been awesome to watch. I am equally impressed every time I see Braxton handling the trucks like a pro. Back in the second half of 1977 (when I was still 4 years old), my dad taught me how to connect/disconnect the air brake lines and power cord for the trailer lights. He also taught me how to secure cargo containers (sea cans in Canada) to the chassis trailers at the American Presidential Lines yard on Terminal Island in San Pedro and at least one other yard over in Long Beach (both in California). My dad never allowed me to pull the king pin release on the fifth wheel when we dropped the trailers (often at the Santa Fe Railyard along the L.A. River and what is now the I-710). In 1981, he taught me how to shift a ten speed transmission on Class A Ford Box Trucks (40 ft long and two axles) when I was 8 years old. From February to late August/Early September 1981, I was blessed to be able to travel all over California. My dad never taught me how to drive Class A Commercial Trucks. At the request of my mother, he discouraged me from trying to follow in his trucking footsteps. He encouraged me to take business classes so that I could be around sweet smelling girls instead of stinky dudes. Anybody thinking I'm jealous of Tim's son is DEAD WRONG. I hope Braxton keeps his passion for this industry as he gets older.
Fcr wow to bad they only do certain trucks or I would ship my kenworth w900l over from Oregon and have it fixed by professionals. What do you think about electrostatic paint spray equipment? Less over spray on tubes and frame rail etc they do work just never tried truck frame and parts
Brings back some good old memories paintin full time in a good facility, thanks Tim for the content! oh and by the way, your spraying has improved a lot, keep it up
Tim hope you read this comment You need to do Roster do what you are doing to Westons Truck Man Roster is a Awesome Truck plus You deserve to have Roster looking like a working Show Truck.
Tim, when you were standing in the spray booth all suited up, the face close up from the lip to the eye brow was Braxton grown up. He is your future twin for life work ethic and family value
Truck is looking Amazing, and i'm Glad to see you got some "Hands on" painting lessons from Pro's, those will help you in the future more then you know..
Hats off to you! Having that much respect given you free rains of one empire! to use says volume. Your caricature! Is well thaught highly ,of for this generosity. Proving Grit ! Is a man word today its action! As you can see others dont get the respect, your getting because b.s. is just that TALK! 💯🎯. Cant wait for the finished project!👍
What A grand slam with Westens truck and Tim what A awesome Job you have done for 2 weeks. Fitzgerald Collision Repair is the place for anyone to take there trucks if they want the best of the best.
Tim l like the ideal of painting the inside of the visor but I think the outside should have not got painted. So that the outside would match with the other polished and chrome parts but it's okay.
The facility there is top notch. The crew is top notch. Your technic has greatly improved on laying down color. That truck is gonna look even more amazing when she is all together and finished. Westin is gonna be blown away.
I’ll tell you what people can say what they want but your techniques has gotten great. See with good instruction and the right equipment with the willingness to learn you’ll get it done.
Hey Tim, love everything you do for the industry with your openness to talk to the trucking world. Maybe you could throw out a little love for Chad Berry and his channel he has some very cool insight to how he rolls, and I was surprised to see that he doesn’t have that many subscribers, I know he does a lot with semi casual and I don’t know that you’ve ever been involved with him. But it would be nice to see his subscription numbers go up a little you’re totally rocking it and give Brax a little squeeze from all of us out here on the west coast.
There goes Westens Peterbilt being a show truck. I really don't see you getting it done before that show coming up in a few weeks instead of thinking you can without Fitzgerald finishing it
I’d be willing to bet you I’ll make it to the Truck show. Nothing against Fitzgerald beautiful shop experience technicians but now it comes down to Tim and his crew forget about it.
I seen the spot you missed on that one pipe you edited out. You did a great job but nothing about painting needs to be fast. Take ur time and double check the whole piece there isn’t a time limit on doing it. It’s looking good you learned a lot from that man. He is the mvp!
Wanna see the Air Force truck 10@% finished and the red classic after you get westins truck done. The Johnny cash truck can wait. It’s been way too long with the air force truck and the red classic. Can’t wait to see more work Tim. Keep the greasy side down my friend.

Love the contrast between the grey and the blue ..... didn't you blokes have a bit of a fight between the grey and the blue a while back ... from an Aussie fan!
You get some unique opportunities. In this case, 2 weeks of free help and training (kinda free, your viewers got it for you because FCR didn't make their schedule even more hectic just because you're a nice guy. Like all other youtubers, they just want your viewers). Yet, you never fail to pay someone back with an ultimate disrespect like having Brax drive the truck into their shop. The unfortunate truth is that you truly seem to think like a kid, you know, the ones that couldn't possibly comprehend anything going wrong.
It's no disrespect to FCR by letting Brax drive the truck into Their Shop and you Evidently need to grow up instead of picking on a kid. And unless you know all the behind the scenes That took place to make this happen You really don't know anything. I love how all you Keyboard Cowboy's will hate on someone for doing something that yal will probably never do and yal are Jealous but yet keep watching his videos 😂😂😂😂😂
@@mattlyle455 Picking on a kid? It should be the adults making the decisions, right! Imagine this not so far out scenario. Brax hits a guy minding his own job there. In court his attorney states the client had reported safety concerns to his superior but nothing was done, it appeared that this new customer had just come into the shop for that last 2 weeks and had free reign of the place. That'd be one thing if a licensed driver was at fault, bigger problem would be an unlicensed adult. However, With an 11 year old, He'd legitimately be lucky to hold onto the business after that lawsuit was settled. Seems as though you may need to put your braxy boy pom poms down and expand your comprehension of how things don't always go as planned in the real world.
You guys at GENTRY & SONS & FITZGERALD'S COLLISON & REPAIR are killing it with this paint job in a very small time crunch period!!!! Keep up on the awesome progress of the WESTON TRUCK BUILD!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL...
Special thanks to Fitzgerald Collision Center for letting them do that but Tim you got to invest in a better spray gun either and Iwata or a Sata gun it's worth every penny that you pay for them spray guns as a painter they are the best paint guns on the market
Manky dirty filters still in there. You said you've been there for two weeks now and they needed changing when you started. Believe it or not you could be achieving even better results. By the way that's only a semi downdraft booth. A full downdraft will be better. That booth favors working in a particular direction and pointing or favoring the gun in certain directions too due to the overspray being sucked across not down. But at least it has shown you rhe light. I'll probably be shifting one about that size to a new location in the next few weeks. Termomeccanica Italia.
Big thank you to Fitzgerald Collision Repair.. Go check out there channel ua-cam.com/video/5QOkbMrjHPo/v-deo.htmlsi=cjawDtJTt2xuKR6m
Very well done sir you should be proud Tim it isn't easy to paint and i have ben painting for over 20 years sir
I love everything about the truck with the exception of the Kenworth doors. I feel they should match the front doors.

What a natural in the truck Braxton is. Definitely his place in the world.
Braxton has an older brother but it is going to be Braxton who steps into his dad's shoes .
Great sleeper looks good but should have matching doors.
