I was a flight instructor with Wiggins Airways back in the late 80's. Love the Piper Cherokees what safe reliable workhorses, I miss them. Too many hobbies, sailing, cycling, etc. work gets in the way. When working there, we saw a Gulfstream IV land there, very cool.
I flew 172's also and they hade great short field landing ability because of the big flaps. On final you could really pitch down and not increase your airspeed. @@loganspotters

As much as I love the Skyhawks I can’t help but agree the Piper Cherokees definitely give Cessna a run for their money

I totally recommend going to Norwood when there is jet traffic because you get super close up. Also KBED is a good spot.
I’ve heard! I did see them moving an older Citation Encore but it wasn’t flying out when I filmed.
I have plans to film Bedford soon too
