Literally traveled thousands of blocks, raided 10 plus ancient cities and found the silenced armor trim.
I definitely got beginner’s luck since I found the Silence trim on my first ancient city I raided while watching Silent raid over 20 ancient cities just for the trim 💀💀💀

I remember watching all them streams. Silent is so unlucky when it comes to the silence. Guess thats what happens when you maoe so much ruckus in the ancient cities that you spawn multiple wardens per city.
Watching you struggle makes me super grateful for how lucky I was! I got it in my first city and within 10 chests!

I've started a brand new world and found the closest ancient. Which so happens to be a double ancient city, which also just so happens to have the silent armor trim and the warden armor trim. I guess you can say, I got extremely lucky 😅

The one that was most difficult for me to find was the rib trim, the ward and silence trims weren't too bad, found 2 of the ward in separate cities and the silence in a 3rd city 😌
I had the hardest time with one of the trail ruins ones. I kept getting the other three at the first two I excavated, plus I lost several suspicious gravel learning how to properly excavate them.
Silence may only have a 1.25% chance of generating, but with 20-40 chests per Ancient City the percentage chance per Ancient City is more like 25% or more. I found it in the second or third one. It's definitely tedious and time-consuming clearing one without waking the Warden, though. Efficiency V hoe definitely helps since you can take out multiple shriekers before the first one cools down if they're clustered.
@@sambuma the trail ruins ones were actually the first ones I went for, those after breaking a few sus gravel were the easiest for me to find 😌

I usually have the worst Minecraft luck. I've found Nether Fortresses with zero chests, Amethyst Geodes with only 6 Budding Amethyst blocks, and multiple Pillager Outposts with no Goat Horns or Allays, BUT it only took me 1 Ancient City with 20 chests to get 2 Ward and 1 Silence Armor Trims.
I spent 18 hours finding every single smithing template,
now I am making every single netherite suit (fully enchanted) for 160 total suits of netherite armor
already at 49 finished

Yesterday I first checked out the update and found the trim in the first ancient city I got to, had no idea it was so rare haha
I'd love to see a wood update for beds, chests, etc.
I've just done this challenge it took me 20 hours just to find one silence trim which is my favourite. I looted 30 ancient cities.
It took me like 4 ancient cities which is about drop rate. The hardest trim for me was the rib armor trim. The chest count in fortresses are so low.
I got both the ward and rib armor on my first try 😂

I just raided or rather entered the first ancient city in my survival world with no armor no less... of course the first chest had a silent armor trim in it and i had a good laugh, instantly being reminded of this video.

I think we can agree that deepslate emeralds is the rarest ore because emeralds only spawn above y level 5 somewhere around that. Even though it is possible it's super hard to get

Took me a while too. Found it in my 12th Ancient City, in what looked to be the very last chest.
One I am having trouble finding is the rib armor trim. So many fortress explored but not one. Took 2 ancient city's to find silence trim and day half to round up all the trims other then rib.
didn't realize how lucky i was until this vid got it in my first City and 4th last chest in that city, i feel so sorry for you Silent!

I was able to find my silent armor trim in the 4th ancient city i explored. In that same ancient city, i found 3 ward armor trims 😁
Yeah I know this pain, though not as unlucky as you, me and my friend adventured to 7 different ancient cities over the span of three days. This was a bit ridiculous, a bit fun sure, but oml me and him were dying at the end
I used coordinates and a creative copy of my survival world and it still took me hours to find it. But I ended up finding 2 right next to each other

nobody has to believe me but the first chest i opened in the first ancient city i visited (thats pretty close to under my base) has silence template. blew my mind when i stumbled on it last night! found 2x swift sneak 2 books and the ward template so now i'm done with ancient cities for the rest of my world lol

you are a menace for raiding it the way you did 😂 i might have to steal the method because sneaking around took forever. it was kinda fun but spending a long time inside the city on top of the time spent looking for them is going to add up plus the the elytra makes it easy to escape
also do you know how many chests tend to spawn per city? so i could try to keep track when raiding
It must be said. I went to try it out in the snapshots and I ended up getting literally 3 silence trims within the first city I checked and not a single ward trim. RNG is so broken sometimes.
It took me with my friend the whole day to find it. We searched almost 10 ancient cities, and have found 10+ notch apples

The trick is to say you want a ward trim act so convincing that you want a ward trim and you should get a silence I mean it worked for me and I am a bedrock player so
Storytime:
There once was me and I found the PERFECT armor and trims on a test world. And what was it exactly? Well unbeknown of its rarity, I chose a full set of the silence trim with geode crystal (on netherite armor). Once I found my combo, I did a quick search on where I can get them and I was told ancient cities. So I search for cities for an entire day and found only 4 ward trims. I was very frustrated and did a full on search about the silence trims and found out that they were pretty rare (1%). I was then feeling better because luck wasn't bad that day or the next. So I hop on again and find another city and third chest in BOOM, got it. I was about to just leave immediately but I wanted to at least get some enchanted apples so next chest BOOM, another one!!! I was way too happy to be alive. After searching the rest thought I'd do one more city but nothing.
Now I am a happy man living in his dream armor.
1st chest in 9th ancient city. I really like finding things organically and not using chunk base, but it got ridiculous. After the 5th city, I got tired of watching my file size balloon.
I was extremely lucky. Literally the first Ancient City raided in the new chucks had a Silence trim, still looking for Ward trim
I got silence armor trim my first city in the very last chest left, but summoned the warden with the chest it was in. Died to the warden, luckily I had a friend that was able to snag it all and escape.
Honestly you have some pretty good luck. I've spent 21 hours so far searching and haven't found a single armor trim template of any kind 😅

It took me 4 fully looted ancient cities and a 5th partially looted one to fin my first silence trim, I also was on java
It actually makes sense that you would find the silent trim by your 20th city because the trim has a 1.2% chance of spawning in a city which can be rounded down to a 1% chance per chest. Then each city has approximately 9 chests which can be rounded to 10 and from what I can tell but around 4 of those seem to be basically junk essentially leaving 5 chests each with a 1% chance meaning that each city really has about a 5% chance of having the silent trim. This means that for each city you explore that doesnt have it, your chances go up by approximated 5% meaning that by your 20th city, the chance of you finding the silent trim should be about 100% give or take 2-3 more cities to guarantee it due to rng.
But this really only applies if your luck is absolutely at ZERO to start off from...

In my long-term survival world I found the trim in the second ancient city I looted 🤗
That was bad luck. I raided around 8 cities before I found my first ward template. During that time I got 3 silence trims. Have all of them now. Coast / rib / dune and centry were the most difficult to get with multiple areas visited to attain them.
And I was feeling unlucky when it took me 6 cities... On the upside it only took me 2 bastion remnants to find a treasure room with that 100% chance netherite upgrade template.
I got incredibly lucky when raiding for silence in the second ancient city I found not 1 but 2 silence armor trims
Have you been experiencing any mobs not despawning when they are supposed to?
I'm on PS4 and my game keeps crashing apparently because mobs aren't immediately despawning when I leave render distance.
I can have a bunch of mobs spawn in a cave, leave, travel across an entire ocean, come back, and all of the mobs are still right where I left them.
I found 2 ancient city but never had the gut to explore, I'm only in the stone with some iron stuff part rn, just finished my iron fa

I feel your pain I got 12 snout trims before I finally got an upgrade one, so many bastions 😂 but got lucky and got the rib in my first fortress so it kinda made it up
A little late now but you should've found a treasure one, they have a guaranted upgrade at the bottom
