He’s Charley with an -ey.
He was starting to show his age, here; the movements are getting stiff and that wonderful voice has lost some of its power. But it's still fantastic to see and hear a legend in action.
Lots of pride Charlie and one can't really do what's due in life without that beautiful humble pride for it's a release of the soul out to all open to receive it... well for myself I at least got the Philo 101 down though that puts no diamond in my crown though it could make a clown out of me...and I wonder should I wear a frown or get off the ladder of philo 101 though continuing in that vein I would like to do a brain drain and say I really know nada bout love but to the one I would like to say I love or to be in love with is that I know nothing of love been single all my life and most likely remain so at this late stage of my life except for the one who so delighted whatever soul I could be said to have with her love cast into the domain of song that broke thru into the emptiness of life without the beauty of what love is or seems to be and no one could ever be to me what the love I felt "like unto no other feel... simple love is simply true...there is no end to what I would do... just because... You... asked me to... knowing how much I love you...and after all the things life put me thru... I'd turn and walk away from you...IF that is what you asked me to". Or in other words... your wish is my command. So I wrote this yesterday to you for clarity's sake.

I have no will other than that...till then I don't want you "as mine"... would not want to pick the flower from the stem and it's vine... that is just too undefined and I might add unrefined... I keep the ends out for the tie that binds even before I could be yours i walked the line while yet on tour and never waivered along that line or then it could not be that I was yours and though I scoured the Earth I could never find.anyone who would bind my tie... anywhere along any line then i would just trip over my tie...fall to earth and die with but a whimper not even a cry...poor boy!!! Yes he did. He passed at 86 due to complications of covid. They have it posted on his facebook page.
Unfortunately we lost charlie to the covid-19. May he rest in peace. Have always loved his singing
