It seems an incredibly efficient razor, and especially with the neutral exposure and the blade gap it gives, I didn't expect it to look so efficient, besides the above, it's also really beautiful
I didn’t think you would shave the goatee with it but it took it off with not that much effort, very impressive. It’s a beautiful razor and glad you decided to use it first time on camera:)
Great video, I think this razor is worth every penny I apprecite Manuel’s hard work and its design!! Razor shaves incredibly smooth and efficient and I have very sensitive skin prone nicks and cuts but velocity one delivers it! Packaging is 10/10 and really nicely done for those who apprecite detail quality this it! Cheers Alan H
Great review. Good call to try a blade you like and are familiar with. I used a schick on my first shave. Try a feather at some point as they work really well. Blade clamping is just superb.
Hi Mike. You had a marvelous shave with that premium razor. I could see someone who is a DE shaver wanting to get one if he has the resources to do so. Although I do shave with safety razors, I prefer traditional straights and shavettes. In fact, I have a custom Max Sprecher straight that cost me 640 dollars and a custom ArtRazor from the Ukraine that was 500 dollars. So, I would prefer to buy a 1000 dollar custom straight than a 1000 dollar safety razor. It really comes down to a wetshaver's perspective and priority on which way to go as far as buying any razor; let alone a very expensive one. Thanks for the review of the Tedalus Velocity razor. Have a great week.
That’s JT really enjoyed doing it. Was such an honor to be able to do this review. Sure did shave well and I had high expectations and I have to say it did deliver. Thanks for your comments as always. Hope you’re doing well.
I was sceptical about the Tedalus but with the 30 day return policy I figured there was nothing to lose. I use a straight 99% of the time but I do appreciate a good DE. Previously I held the RS10 and Rocnel Sailor tied as my top razors but this went beyond both and is the only razor I have used that takes a Feather blade and doesn’t result in a bloodbath, in fact tames the Feather in every way giving an easy BBS. In a league of its own.
Very nice, I have since purchased a velocity one for myself. Really liked this one and it will be something I will pass down to my kids. I am going to thin out my collection though to help fund this a little. 😂
Great video, Mike. It looks like it shaves really well. I think people need to look at it completely different than a shaving tool. You can tell the time on a Casio, and a Camry is great for your commute. Those are tools. You don't buy a Rolex or a Ferrari because you need to know the time or get to work. You do it because you're an enthusiast and can afford it. I think it's good for the industry to have more options for people, and at every budget you can have a great experience. The higher the high end stuff goes the more things trickle down. How many people "needed" a car with power windows when they first came out? Now, your base level economy car has more luxuries than a higher end luxury car did in the 90s. You can get highly polished solid CNC machined razors very affordably now because people dared to make more expensive versions years earlier.
Can’t agree more, it truly is a fantastic razor. So much so that I do go ahead and I ordered one for myself. Will be thinning out some of the razors in the den to help fund this 😂. All good, thanks for watching and for your comment. Have a great weekend.
Sad the goatee has gone Mike, but well done for going for it, it did look good. Was hoping you would keep the moustache going, never seen you with one of those!
Looks like an incredible razor. Because of its neutral blade exposure, it seems you had to go over the same area several times. Maybe the large blade gap makes up for the blade exposure neutrality.
No I just normally shave that way typically, and because I had to shave off the goatee. I do appreciate you watching and appreciate the comment. Enjoy the rest of the week.
Actually, that was pretty exciting. The razor is beautiful and obviously gives a superb shave. Now I'm obsessing about wanting one. Fortunately I can't afford it. 😅
Totally get that, that’s why I said it’s not for everyone. At the end of the day you can have a great shave with any razor. Thanks for the comment, have a good one.

It really was, honestly did a great job. Met my expectations. Appreciate the comment. Thank you 🙏🏻

Impressive indeed, yea I had to put it to the test. Think it was a good call to do a full shave so viewers can see how well it did. Fantastic shave

You know what the blade clamping is really good on this. Will try the Feather. 👍🏻

@@LongIslandShaving That's good Mike, it did suit you. Perhaps try a moustache first?

Fair enough
Wow, what a great review.

Yea I’m obsessing as well but I have other priorities right now but it was a great experience. Hey thanks for watching
I have alpha evolution 1.0, it is my goto. Extra efficient👌
The Outlaw is a great razor. Amazing shave every time
Which blade was used?
Persona Platinum Comfort Coated
Fair enough.
The true test would be a "Head Shave"!...😂😂😂
😂
Great review. Have you ever tried the Lambda razors? Ares or Athena. I have seen reviews that the Tedalus is comparable to them. As always, YMMV.
No I never heard of them. Have to take a look
@@LongIslandShaving I sent you an email if you would be interested in a pass around of them. if so, let me know and I will try to arrange it.
@@WallyPankowski-wd8gb yea that would be great, I can be reached at Longislandshaving@icloud.com
Thank you 🙏🏻
For that kind of price tag, it is not a significant improvement on a lot of other razors.
Fun to try but hard pass for me.

wow it took off your goatee like butter
Ok Mike, Here’s the deal…. We get together for dinner with our wives…. When we are just about done, we tell (ask) them together!
Let’s do it, sounds like a plan but we need to both get them something as well. Like a nice bag or shoes 😂
