That's a really useful feature that should implement. Right to repair is very important to users so they can fix their own iPhone without software locks, complicated architecture, very low price, and *screws*.
Don’t worry, phones will hit a limit on how much they can improve and many companies will start to create flagship phones that rival the likes of Apple and Samsung and there will be many flagship phones that are pro consumers. We actually are already starting to reach that limit on how much they can improve because the new iPhones and MacBooks are basically just new chips. It’s not long before we reach a company that actually cares about its customers.

That's really great feature and helpful to all Samsung users but what happens if display is broken? Or phone is not turning on ? It will be helpful if there is any physical button to activate this feature or if there is any other option to activate this feature through remotely on Samsung account.

2) If you shut down the device when the mode is on, it will power on in Maintenance mode or normal mode?

The device will always power on in maintenance mode until the owner inputs the secure pin when turning the mode on

Hello. My Samsung S20 Fe fell and after that I was using my phone…display was good but when battery went to 0 it won’t switch on even after charging. Now I had many personal files and pics in my phone. But my phone is locked with fingerprint and a strong password. So is my data safe if I give it to a repair shop ?

Great feature, but any way you can do this on an old Note 9? I have taken this in for battery replacement a few times...BUT I'll back the whole phone up on my laptop, then do a total factory reset the phone just in case, all my apps removed for the time being. I dont know the person working in the backroom with my phone..

what if the screen is damaged and not able to turn on your device in this case there should be other method also
but none at service centre have told me above this and everytime they said there will be chance of data might got wiped, but why !?

A73 doesn't have maintenance mode
They will probably bring it later like some other features that was missing earlier on some models

But sadly these days display issues are critical concern...Go to Samsung member app many users are complaining about this...software update के बाद मेरे Note 9 का display खराब हुआ और ₹13500 का नया लगाना पड़ा और अब मेरे S20+ का display भी खराब हो गया जबकि मैनें अभी उसका software update नही किया था... हमारे भारत देश में service centers वालों का व्यवहार भी ठीक नही होता और service में बहुत समय भी लगाते हैं....अब तो Samsung से भरोसा उठ गया मेरा...
Not all Service Centres practice this.
They simply wipeout all customers’ data during repair.
This isnt for the service center to do. It's for the user. If the repair center tells you that they will wipe the device, then it's up to you to backup all your data.
This feature is mostly for hardware fixes like replacing broken screens and faulty batteries.
