MARS and MERCURY - The Money Line 45/21
Even bigger news this week focuses on the one complete channel in the chart of this week. That’s defined by Mars in Gate 45 and Mercury in Gate 21. I’ve talked extensively about the Sun in Gate 21 in Episode 13 of this series, and we haven’t yet gotten to the Gate 45 on the Mandala.
This is a potent alignment creating an Ego Manifestor energy. The 45 in Traditional Human Design is the King/Queen gate, and in Quantum Human Design* is the gate of the natural leader. This channel and both the gates are tribal energy, bringing the powerful energy of the Will Center directly to the Throat. So this is manifesting energy!
Mars is the Spiritual Warrior and when he’s lighting up the Gate 45 we have the opportunity to express our highest possible expression of natural leadership to bring about positive change for the highest good of all. This would include compassion, sustainability, equitability and all those qualities and actions that stem from an awareness of the inter-relatedness of life.
In its lower expression, this could be violent dictatorship. Traditionally Mars is known as the god of war, and combined with the shadow side of the 45 - dictatorship - we could have a volatile and dangerous combination. So please be aware this week of how this potent energy moves through you and the people around you and purposefully diffuse potential conflicts and shift them into conversations that aim to create this highest good for all. This is tribal energy so expect this in your family, with people you work with, your neighbors and community. It can also express in larger context, even on a global scale, and if does lets hope its in its higher expression.
You’ll be added in this by Mercury lighting up the Gate 21. This gate on the Will Center and provides the power to the 45. This energy is about managing resources, and Mercury gives us the ability to communicate clearly about how we need to best manage our resources - personal, familiar, communal. Tap into the communication skills of Mercury as you navigate any challenges that arise around distribution of resources because after all don’t most conflicts step from disagreements about this? Be aware, be wise, and you’ll have the ability to do much good this week around raising our consciousness about using our resources for the highest good of all, including the plant and our companion species, as well as for ALL of humanity.
SUN in Gate 42 - Finishing Things.
The 42 is on the Sacral Center, which is generated energy, and it works best when it’s responding to something external. It’s also part of the Sensing Circuit, which is part of the larger Collective Circuit. This means that its about learning through the senses and somatic/body-based experiencing. It’s right brained, creative and intuitive, rather than linear and logical. This gate reaches out to the Root Center, receiving its pulsing energy. This suggests that this energy will be inconsistent and a bit unpredictable - sometimes you’ve got it and sometimes you don’t.
This week you’ll have extra support to complete things you’ve been working on, or left behind for a time and would benefit from completing or beginning to conclusion. Remember to do this in response rather than initiating. That’s pretty easy to do in this case because you probably have a number of projects, activities or responsibilities that have been waiting for you to finish them! Respond to what you feel is calling you more strongly to complete.
EARTH in Gate 32 - Traditional Human Design: Continuity Quantum Human Design: Endurance
Gate 32 is on the Spleen Center, so it’s one of the fear gates. This one is the fear of failure. Its power comes in discerning which ideas are worth pursuing, especially in a business context, and having the patience - endurance - wait until the time is right to pursue them. This is part of the Business or Commerce circuit, a type of tribal circuitry often called the Ego Circuit.
You will do well this week to review the projects want to engage in and notice if you have any fear about putting your energy into and then failing, or if you’re overly hesitant or eager in relation to it. You can tune in to what’s happening with the Sun in gate 42 because that gate has power when it’s the right time and what it’s acting in response. The 32 doesn’t have power of its own as the Spleen is not a power center or motor. The dynamic between these them energies will best support you when clear or set aside any fear you have about failing, use your intuition to determine if now is the right time to move forward on ideas you have brewing - or new aspects of projects already underway. When you do that, you create the possibility for you to complete projects that have been waiting for the right time and sufficient energy to do so.
