Cool 😎 vid with some old school rides, very nice.... 👍 I took a ride today to the Eastwood store in Edison NJ, and got the same 140 welder. I had a Flux core and it was great, but.... A Mig is SO MUCH CLEANER.... I did a little welding today on a 1996 gmc sierra 1500 floors and the welds are so much cleaner and way less messy. Idk if I'm wrong here but... looks like u put the wire in maybe upside down? Looks like it's going down into the roller, instead a straight shot thru the feed line. 🤷♂️ I'm using .030 wire.
I think your right, it’s probably upside down. Thanks for the heads up!! I will flip it to the bottom. Glad you like your welder! I can’t wait to start getting into replacing a section of flooring in the f100 myself! Thanks again!!!
@@selectyourtools that's what I'm doing now on a 1996 gmc sierra 1500 drivers floor. I'm using 16 gauge just to get me thru the winter. The truck was a project for the last 2 months, but I enjoyed every minute of the build. Now it's a race to get it done with the cold weather. 🤦♂️It's a plow truck and the floor was the last thing that has to get done. The Eastwood welder is the Bomb 💣 💥 tho lol 😂 welds so nice it's got me hooked lol. Glad I can help out.
@@brooklyn_paisan1348 That’s awesome! Hopefully you can get the floors done soon. It is getting colder. You got me wanting to get out there and weld some more! Lol…
The wire spool have to be flip got it feed front the bottom
Thanks man! I noticed it after the video and got a comment on it. I will be flipping it before I use it again! Thanks for the heads up!
I noticed that as well.
Nice welding set-up. A small amount of filler or glazing putty and I'd say you'll be good to go!
Thanks man! I wish it wasn’t so cold already. Really get some work done on the truck!
