Can you do a top end race between Svartpilen 401 and Duke 390 Both are similar bikes and same engine It will be intresting those who agree like or comment same
I always thought that the Honda 470 cc motor put comparatively low power because it has a relaxed tune. Whereas the ktm motor is more highstrung. From what I've read and seen, that results in the Cb500 motor being reliable by even Honda's standards.
It’s quite odd in India Svartpilen is cheaper than KTM 390 and its other way around by quite a margin in SA… dunno how this works and why … India reference on road INR price is 356,000 for Svartpilen and KTM Duke 390 is 375,000
That is because Bajaj wants to sell Huskies in India and as a point of difference (wrt Duke) it has lowered the price. Also, please note the Indian Huskies don’t get the full electronic suite like the Duke or the international version. It misses out on cornering ABS, ride modes etc.
I dunno. I'm a big fan of cafe racers, and while being very futuristic-y, it still has some of those same cafe racer motifs. More upright posture, mid-low handle bars, classic circle headlight, and that less raised tail, I'm a fan. Could do with a different color pallet though. It'd look good in an olive green or a purple. Gloss or matte is up to preference though

When will the Himalayan 450 come to SA? Maybe some of the multi brand retailers will bring them in.
I own this and I love this little machine. In my videos I show it's uses
Wow it’s way more pricy in SA compared to India
The old one looked better imo
I concur, this one doesn't give me the fizz.

Also, it really needs tubeless spoke rimmed tires instead of tubed.
Yup, and a crap load cheaper
Is the 399cc a Bajaj motor made in India or from a Chinese manufacturer as someone has reported?
Lovely bike. Tubed tyres: shame. Jerky low-down delivery? Nick
Even the frame is the same as the 24 Duke390, which is what I got, I love kTm😁.
Hos sill it cope with hot Australian summer's?
Translated. Svart is Smart, Pilen is Piles. Hurts the Piles
Nup. I'm not even Svedish, and I know it's about colours.
It means “black arrow”
Should try make a review of the bike big boy tsr250
My first impression was that of a Kawasaki 650 versys.
?
Shame it sounds like a washing machine.
Surely it's a 390 with short a skirt and a bit of lippy?
