made this tonight using a hot plate. boy this was probably the best bake I ever tasted. first time making it and first time actually dipping my hand in flour n it came out perfectly. fluffy too. puffed up nicely when placed in the pot. now I feel sick cuz I ate way too much. thank natasha!

I did this last week. OMG it was fantastic and I did it with coconut milk. Soft. I need your help to double this recipe. And triple it. Mainly because I'm not sure of increasing the yeast. Tomorrow is the day for baking. Thx Natasha
@@elizabethroblyn1392 Just so the recipe in separate bowls she has written and add them together and knead. For the triple just do the recipe she has written half the ingredients she has written. Hope it helps
Can you show the version with baking soda please? it is a thinner bake. The older folks would use baking soda long time, many people are returning to that method for health reasons.

i messed up ....didn't rise .what could have caused this ? then the other time the outside cooked and burnt lol but the inside was raw...
lois tilbury was the water too warm? If so, it will kill the yeast.

lois tilbury make sure the water is not too warm and your ingredients are not expired. Knead the flour well.
Sometimes the yeast is old (cold)
And to much heat it will burn lol
Even if it didn’t rise cover and cook it will be roti like! It happens
