Part Three looks at how James' (and many of our staff's) British sensibilities have influenced the show and what it takes to bring a big American late night show across the pond to London.

Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. The more details, the more impressed I am in what they had to conquer to build and create such a successful show...even adding these wonderful chapters into the mix for after the show ended. WOW!

Getting to know more from thebbackground, my wife is just constantly saying, why we dont fiind this show 4-5 year earlier,, why it stops now that we started to love it.
The fact that she got motivated to learn english to understand the show better. It is a life changing thing.

I cried days and days after The Ellen Show was cancelled. And now The Late Late show comes to an end... I can't believe all of this is happening right now. Those shows from England, were some of the best in the shows history, I have some friends who live in Manchester, England I wish Corden could have done shows there as well. I could just tell when the British guests would come on the show. There was a kinship between them and Corden, that they were not going to have with Kimmel for obvious reasons. I bet James Corden's parents have mixed emotions, they love the show and do not want it to end, however must mean everything to them, their son wants to come back to England to spend their last days together as a Family. 🧡

I love these! Part of me wishes they would have flipped the script and just moved the show to London while doing a yearly US trip. Alas, that’s very complicated because I’m sure many key people from the show can’t just up and move to the UK. I’m still hoping that James will find a way to keep this show a little alive by doing online sketches and Carpool Karaokes. The audience is here, so why not keep a good thing going in some smaller manner?
I’m also hoping that when the kids are grown, maybe JC will entertain the idea of doing another late night show here. He will need something to keep him busy when the kids are in college - it would be funny if his kids attend US universities and the Cordens end up moving back in an ironic plot twist, lol.
I love that those get out now while the WGA strike is happening. I miss my late night shows in the morning. But this helps.

It’s over :/ they have the final episode up. As well as the final crosswalk and carpool karaoke. He left after 8 years to go spend time with his family. He will be missed.
