Looks so good, I need to upgrade my Photon Mono to something bigger lol. What do you use to gap fill things like the gap between the horse head and the body, or the gap in the cloak on the rider?
I'd assume they probably either resin welded the parts with UV resin, or they used epoxy or putty. I know my favorite method is resin welding so as to not lose detail
so how much would this cost?
i mean the printing only, not paying the work time for paint etc.

I spent almost a month printing this and close to $200 in resin, if i remember correctly, making this model. Very upset with it. The horse and rider are very top heavy and only 2 points of contact to hold it to the base. Turns out this problem has been known for several years, and nothing has been done to address this. I now have a model that is in several pieces because it fell over and broke. For a 12 month loyalty reward this should be fixed. This is far too beautiful of a model to have an issue like this. And as always Marcia, your an incredible artist, phenomenal paint job.
This months offerings look really good, I'm seriously considering rejoining.
I love this hobby! We can build and paint things we only imagined!

Looks amazing but how big is the figure at the end?
Why would you use CA glue on that? I would have used 2 part epoxy on anything that large.

This is the biggest on the subscription, it was model at this scale. the Dwarf was just a scaled up mini

guys i just watched a resin printing introduction video you did 2 years ago recommending a phrozen 4k, i would love to hear what you would recommend in the middle range of resin printers today ,. I was thinking of a jupiter2 but would gladly hear even more details like the issue of some printers being locked to subscription for slicers vs open source, what resin to choose etc. Many thanks in advance. Not sure how your prints are coming out so beautiful keep it coming!!!! I’ve been trying to print large prints with siraya tech navy grey normal exposure 1.5s and bottom exposure 40s and they won’t stick to supports but small prints come out perfect
you need longer than 1.5 second for each layer to print larger models.
What 3d printer did you use

Its a makeup brush. Search for Kabuki Powder brush or similar.
@@Fernanda-gs1qq being new to all of this, is there a special purpose for this brush for the paintwork?? Is it used for effects in the paint??
