Really? I thought her English was as good as president Zelenskyy’s, which is to say quite colloquial if heavily accented. If you’re expecting a Deep South American accent, that won’t happen. But I find her quite understandable if innocuous as to content. Maybe you’re so insular that you just can’t wrap your poor little head around an accent that doesn’t fit in with your own tiny clan. I had that problem, as a Canadian child who found herself in an Australian school at age 5. We had difficulties understanding each other’s accents because back then Australia was very insular. But as the country and its peoples were exposed to different ways of speaking the exact same language, it’s become easier. If you can evolve, you’ll also find it easier, unless you don’t believe in evolution.
